Well my ChargePoint Home Flex just got delivered. Now I have an actual visual reminder that I don't have an EV in my possession.

I hear ya....My charger is installed in the garage and waiting.
Been four months since my order and not a word........accept "Order Accepted by Ford"
My wall charger is lonely !

I reached out to my dealership yesterday, was concerned about the whole 'dealer allocation' thing I read on the forums. When I ordered I actually got a print out of their order etc so I saw I had a priority code of 19. I asked them if that could be bumped up and they let me know it was at a 12 at the moment and said I'd be one of the next two orders that go through... and then maybe I'll get a projected production week. I think I'm very likely to have a 2021 MY delivered sometime in 2022.

Got our NEMA 1450 plug installed yesterday*...YAY!

Won't have a car to plug into it until (probably) 2022...BOOO!!!

* - Yes, I know it's mounted "upside-down"...we decided, since it had to go in fairly low, we'd mount it this way and mount the EVSE above it and to the right.

10:22am I can see my MME was just delivered to my dealer!!!! Excited is not capable of describing my mood. Must take the afternoon off to go drive by. (Seriously, we're all cyberstalking our future cars here...)

Me too. I keep taking mine out of the holster and looking at it, then putting it back. Then taking it out. Then putting it back. Sigh.

I'm completely grumping right now. My MME is in that limbo of "left the factory" but not yet "in PALSAPP," so it's...somewhere...out there...waiting to come home.

Just stopped by my dealer for my monthly visit, and well there's no good news yet and coming up on 13 weeks. He did show me the VVR and my car is next to be assigned, they are just scheduling in batches (color and models are done in batches) to keep the line moving. With the cut off looming ever closer (early Oct.) for the 2022 models to begin production in November, I'm still looking at a December or January delivery ?

On a plus side for those in the mid atlantic states, I drove past the Wilmington Auto Port yard and saw quite a few Mach-E's being loaded on trucks for delivery to dealers!

A little less grumpy as of today - I got my window sticker! Production scheduled for next week, may wait an eternity for chips, but I got my window sticker and the link provided some color correct pictures, so updated my MME Forum avatar to be the anticipated car.

I’m taking a gamble and selling my car on Friday. I’ve still got a couple months before delivery but since I took the work from home job, my car just sits and the dealer I service it at just made me an offer too good to pass up. Kind of brings to question my need for a 70k car if I work from home 100%. Stop thinking that or my wife will see

Sold my Mustang GT last weekend to a dealer, offer was very reasonable. Looked like prices are starting to come down on used vehicles and I have 2-3 months still. However, I do still have another vehicle to get around in, its just not very fast...

That was my justification. Prices are very good now but as chips come available it won’t stay that way
