If anyone has any experience with the Pacifica Hybrid, let me know.
I own a Launch Edition 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. It was one of the first ones delivered in May 2017. Because they were very late in delivering the first orders FCA gave me a free Level 2 charger made by AeroVironment and 3 years of oil changes. Other than recalls I have not had a single problem with it. I have not experienced any of the issues Car and Driver complained about. I really enjoy driving it. I traded in my Dodge Durango R/T for it because we outgrew the Durango. It being PHEV is what makes it great to drive. It just takes off, no engine revving or the associated whine unless you gun it and then the engine kicks in to help if you need to go up a big hill or take off into fast moving traffic. I have 50,000 miles on it. I can go for weeks between fill-ups picking up the kids and driving them wherever they need to go around town. I have moved full size couches with it. My wife just moved my niece into her college apartment with it and fit 4 people and all her furniture, clothes and supplies and drove in Tropical Storm Fay to get there. It gets 35 mpg on my 5 hour trips to my vacation home in Maine. It's comfortable, confident and quiet on long drives. We drove it to see my family in Myrtle Beach, SC quite a few times. I was rear-ended in it in traffic on 495 in Massachusetts by a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it took it like a tank and had minimal damage to the bumper cover. I have a 7yr/125000 mile Maximum Care service contract on it (also given to me by FCA for complaining that it took so long to be delivered and was damaged on the trip from the factory in Windsor, ON to NY. I have owned a lot of FCA vehicles in the last 10 years so sometimes it pays to be a loyal customer with a big mouth). It will stick around at least until the service contract has expired. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about my experiences with my Pacifica. Feel free to PM me if you like.

My Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is what made me realize that electric cars are the way I want to go now and in the future.

Hi Mark, is it nosy of me to ask what your screen name stands for? Whenever I see it, I always think about something to do with saltwater fish aquariums and keeping reef corals. ?

Not nosy, after all I use it prominently.

It's a film I was involved in. Won at Sundance, Emmys, several other places. Check it out. It's on Netflix and if you don't have a Netflix account you can watch it for free on Netflix's YouTube channel:

We have a Fusion Energi, but my bike is still human powered until I can't make it up hills anymore - although my wife wants an E-Bike so she can ride with me.
My wife calls our Yamaha eBike "The Equalizer" for that very reason.

Which EGO lawnmower? We were just looking at them last night as our corded electric mower is dying (switch that governs blade brake and on/off now completely broken and can't find replacement part).

If I am peddling, I want the lightest bike possible. A few weekends ago I rode 40 miles on one ride, and I'm not sure I want to be hauling around batteries and a heavier bike. I'm heavy enough to begin with!
True. My e-bike weighs in at 70lbs, pretty hefty. It is a beast, however, and will go through anything with the fat tires.

I see there are options for an electric snowblower, non seem to come close to what you need if you get lake effect snow!

Hi Mark, you are fully electrifyed, aren't you? ? I've also a e-bike with 500Watt.

My job has also to do with a special EV. I would like to say that my EVs I'm designing for are nearly the biggest you can imagine. But the range of this vehicle is not really far.?
Ford Mustang Mach-E What else have you electrified? 288
Bucket excavator 288- the biggest in the world - fully electric

Fantastically made film, with awesome cinematography. The subject is both heartbreaking and frightening. The scene where he came up from documenting the coral deaths into a bar where oblivious people were dancing and having a good time was a perfect metaphor.

I just hope as a species we get our collective heads out of the sand in time to save ourselves. Very few are aware that the largest mass extinction of all time (the permian) was likely caused by climate change causing a cascade effect. Almost all life in the oceans and most life on land was wiped out, probably starting with the oceans.

Thank you for sharing this Mark. I keep a saltwater fish tank. I have not ventured into the reefing aspect because I know that I will lose corals along the way and that breaks my heart. I have heard of this documentary, but now have sat down and watched it and am once again heartbroken at the loss of the reefs throughout the world. I hope that as humans we continue to learn the affects of our decisions and begin to undo the damage of our history, to create a more beautiful world, and appreciate all the small things as well as the big.

Thanks @timbop. Glad you appreciated the film. I have no idea how many times I've seen it and it never gets old.

I addition to my 2014 Fusion Hybrid, I have a Homelite 20-inch electric grass mower with a rear collection bag (no need to pickup or sweep or blow cut grass anymore) that I bought at Home Depot in 2007, and a Homelite electric string trimmer that I bought at Home Deport in 2008. I plan to add LED headlights to the mower, so I can cut grass at night when the weather is too hot to cut during the day (the mower makes little noise). Contrary to the common practice, I use my trimmer first, then I pass the mower to pick up the trimmings in one step., so I don't need any blower.

I have also "electridied" my home but that is better off for a different theme and post.
