I've been at the dealership for 6 hours now. PRO TIP: If you're going to go with the Options Plan, make sure your dealer is knowledgeable about it!! Or plan on enjoying the day with them...lol

My favorite part of the Ford options pain in the ass was the salesman and finance guy going back and forth with monthly payment. I had to put the numbers in on the Ford website to show them the payment we should be at!! They sit around all day scheming the least they could do is learn what Ford is offerin.

This message is a duck and cover one, but…. Can you turn the pony off?

Also, the DRLs look bluer than other pics of the premium. Just the picture or reality?

I don't know if the lights can be turned off, but from what I've seen I don't think so. Someone will inevitably break the codes for a Forescan programmer. If the breaking is as involved as my old Raptor, I'm sure a lot of good things will come out of that.

The lights were just bad cellphone night photos.

Ford REALLY dropped the ball with the purchasing experience. It's sad that their surveys can destroy a salesman's job, when he/she did nothing wrong. There are so many other aspects to buying a car that Ford should try to track where the REAL problems lie.

Yes but tends to break more often. While fishing line is stronger, it can also saw against and rub the paint. I made this mistake many years ago...used strong 30 lb fishing line...the line got a bit scuffed up from rubbing the edge of the emblem and that roughness gave it sawing power against the paint. Emblem came off and to my horror the paint was to the metal underneath. I won't use anything now except a heat gun and very light fishing line....making sure I pull straight to the right or left of the emblem in the direction I'm pulling and not at all towards me as that's what caused the line to get scuffed up and become abrasive.
