Hi all,

Yesterday morning, I updated my FordPass to the latest version 3.29.1. I plugged in my car yesterday afternoon after a car wash and it was supposed to charge starting midnight.

Woke up this morning and found the car not charged. The charging time preferences were either lost or reset. Still, shouldn't the car charge?

Anyways, I set the charging time again along with my Departure Time settings in the app. I hope it works...

Anyone else noticed this?

My charge settings were still there after the update to 3.29.1. Were they missing in both the app and the car or just the app?

Mine didn't start as scheduled last night but there was a very brief power outage, seconds and back on. So I figured it was the cause. I went out and unplugged and plugged it back in and was starting to look in the menu to see if the schedule got reset and car started charging.

So, not sure which was the culprit, power outage to FP update.

On a side note, battery logs are much more accurate now than in the past

As folks have noted previously, sometimes scheduling hiccups the next run after updates, either FordPass or Power-Up. I recommend you give it another chance before worrying about it. Gremlins live.

Both were reset to the default charging times. It's weird because previous updates didn't erase my preferences. I also noticed this error on my screen when trying to charge.

I have no idea. I made an appointment with my dealer and the car is in the shop for diagnosis right now.

Fingers crossed. I will post an update when I find out.
Maybe have them check those. Looks like there are updates that would resolve that.

So I dropped off the car to my local dealership (Frontier Ford in Santa Clara, CA). The service manager told me that there were several errors that they found. They updated the software (I'm guessing on the car?), will keep the car overnight to charge and will let me know sometimes today. Hopefully this will solve the issue with the charging mishap. I will post a follow up once I get a copy of the workorder.

Conclusion: Just came back from Frontier Ford in Santa Clara, CA and picked up my car. The service rep told me that they did a 'software update' but the work order shows the following:
Found TSB 21-2190
Perform TSB 21-2190 Reprogram OBCC Module. Test ok at this time.

That's it, other than the general inspections for the battery, brakes & tires.

Fingers crossed for the issue to be fully fixed.
