The first day I brought the Mach-E GT home I set the schedule in the car to charge to 90% between Midnight and 8AM. It has never failed to charge to 90% until today. For some reason it did not charge at all last night and this morning the charge was at the same 77% it was at when the charger was plugged in last night. Is this a known issue?

Hello, David! Send us a private message with your MachE’s VIN and current mileage. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this charging issue. Thanks!

It happened to me once before and for some reason, fordpass app wasn't working properly so it didn't recognize my car was plugged in, I went to the garage unplugged and plugged back in and it started charging immediately (it was within the 7p -7a charging window). It's only happened once. Did you happen to notice if in fordpass it was showing your car plugged in waiting to charge?

What charger are you using? Some charges will instruct you to set the car to "always charge" and then use the schedule feature in the charger itself.

I had this same issue happen with a ChargePoint Home Flex and removing the schedule from the car resolved the issue. Note: you still leave the 90% based on location.

We are using the Ford Connected Charge Station and this is the first time we have had an issue. The schedule was set inside the vehicle itself and not in FordPass. Does the FordPass app affect the charging if it is setup in the vehicle? The only time I have done anything in the FordPass app is one time I tested the "Charge to 100%" action in the app, but that was only once and about a week or 2 ago (it worked, btw).

Happened to me a couple of times. I have a thread posted about the experiences in here somewhere. I suspected a temporarary conflict with FordPass.....possibly due to an update. Charge schedule returned to normal after a couple of days.

I also had another no charge issue but that was related to problem with the electrical circuit powering the EVSE. Isolated issue separate from the FP thing.

Same. My charging did not start last night either. I went out and unlocked the car, once it woke up the charging started right up and stayed within my set 80% limit. It's been funny since the last FP update.

It has happened twice to me. I know that my home's energy was used, as we have solar and a power wall. Both times the power wall was used up (to the level we keep in case of an outage), and the car did not charge. So where did the electricity go?
