This is my biggest worry, and maybe my saving grace. Driving a 2013 Fusion Hybrid for the last five years and my last Mustang about 6 years ago, pretty much everything will feel fast lol. Thanks for posting these - it helps put the situation into perspective. For my wife, this will still be a massive upgrade even at higher speeds. He current car (Mini countryman s all4 - she thinks it is zippy) takes 19.2 seconds for 0-100 (vs. About 12.5 for the Mach-e GT) and 12.3 seconds to go from 60-100 (vs. about 6.5 in the GT). Not too shabby!
Wonder why Unbridled Extended was such a dog though?
Interesting the C&D test of the polestar 2 (402 hp / 487 lbs) has a 50-70 of 2.2 seconds so with your numbers it look like its going to be hard even for ford to live up to its European Marketing slogan of fastest accelerating in its class with numbers like that50-70:

50-70 in Unbridled Extended mode:

I don't know if there's any way to search dragy to see if any MYPs have done 70-90 but C&Ds MYP test has its 50-70 at 1.8 seconds.
The 2 is cool, but, we drove one at the Austin “showroom” and there was one absolute dealbreaker no reviewers have talked about that I’ve seen - the center console tunnel is fucking monstrously wide at the waterfall location. My right knee could not stop banging it. I’m 6’3” but even my wife said it was ridiculous, she’s 5’10”. But, yeah, it drives good, is pretty good looking and the price is competitive. Kinda short on range but I see Polestar has recently bumped the range a bit for ‘22.Oh another option is the Polestar 2 if the GT falls through, for some reason it's like I always forget that car exists.
Good lord, this is a tall order.
GTPE runs 1/4 mile at 100mph, people start to lose their minds (don't even worry about what the time was, it was probably mentioned like 3 times in 31 pages vs about 4928 times mentioning the 100mph speed)
Debates into the night about the 1/8 mile time and speed and what it could mean for the 1/4 mile if things are fixed
Meanwhile orders are being cancelled, or on the verge of being set on fire
Salt everywhere
Accords running better 1/4 mile speeds
Mexican drag races
Accords, and 2.0T motors in general, pulling so much harder at highway speeds that more orders of the GT/GTPE are set ablaze from the flames of turbo exhaust pipes
People living their lives one quarter mile at a time
AWD pulling faster 1/4 trap speeds
Users blocking other users
New cars being considered
Speculation on what the issue really is
Reviews not being released to back up claims of performance
Hopes and dreams are dashed
Hearts and minds waiting in anguish for validation in their decisions
Hmmm that's unfortunate... I'm 6'3" too so that definitely might be a deal breaker. Unfortunately there's nowhere to find one around here. The 2 is cool, but, we drove one at the Austin “showroom” and there was one absolute dealbreaker no reviewers have talked about that I’ve seen - the center console tunnel is fucking monstrously wide at the waterfall location. The idea of the unbridled extended is to enable people to have more track time out of a charge, rather than just blasting around and run out of juice after a couple of laps so it would be expected for it to be slower as it no doubt dials back the max available power to increase range.Wonder why Unbridled Extended was such a dog though?
Omg I just died! ????Good lord, this is a tall order.

The runs don't say it won't make 124 just that it could take awhile to get there.Apologies if this has been discussed (I've read most of this thread, but probably missed a few posts), but I thought Ford specifically stated a top speed of 124 mph for the GT and GTPE. From these early runs, there is zero chance of these cars hitting that as currently configured. For the regular MMEs, the top speed is 112 mph (or maybe 113), and there are reports of them pulling hard right to the limit -professional driver on a closed course, obv.
Ford clearly figured out the top speed, right? And if they are advertising 124 mph, and no one is getting close (professional driver on a closed course), well, there are truth in advertising laws that come into play, aren't there?
It has indeed been discussed, and one starry night, in a small Mexican villa, a 120mph+ top speed was verified. But it seems that it approaches that limit very slowly rather than pulling hard up to that point before being throttled.Apologies if this has been discussed (I've read most of this thread, but probably missed a few posts), but I thought Ford specifically stated a top speed of 124 mph for the GT and GTPE. if you mash the pedal right now in a GTPE, you will get up to 124 by early 2022It has indeed been discussed, and one starry night, in a small Mexican villa, a 120mph+ top speed was verified. As others have stated it will get there eventually, I am not a fan of ford using 1ft roll out time as they always make numbers look better than they really are, but with the posted numbers we have so far even getting the advertised 0-60mph and especially the 0-100kph times ford have quoted maybe optimisticFord clearly figured out the top speed, right?
