Yes especially considering that slope.Significantly better time for 50-70, right?
Better than the other car, still way off of target (Model Y time). Would love to see it with no slope and no passenger. But even so, I doubt that’ll get it near 1.5 seconds which is where I want it to be.GTPE. This was just trying out the custom setting in Dragy for the first time while on the highway.
Edit: unbridled, tcs off. One light passenger.
But, the sum total of the data we have so far is 2 different cars, with 2 different drivers, on 2 different tracks, both producing virtually identical runs.Haha, personal guarantee? Ok. I’ve been drag racing since 1992. I read test reports. If a car traps 87mph in the 1/8th it’s almost impossible to only trap 100 in the 1/4. The MME GT is not gearing limited like some 4.56 geared Fox body with a broken 5th gear. If it can do 124mph top speed it’ll do 110 in the 1/4.
If there is a problem that is limiting it to 100mph, Ford will fix it. But I suspect there’s not a real problem.
I think we are up to 4 cars now, all trapping 100 mph. But, the sum total of the data we have so far is 2 different cars, with 2 different drivers, on 2 different tracks, both producing virtually identical runs.
I would gladly sacrifice some performance for an actual gauge cluster and some physical controls. Not to mention way better looksI’m so worried the Model Y will end up being the one car I’ll have to get because there’s nothing in the market with a similar price and performance…
HELP ME FORD!!! Come read the forums!!!
In my case I already knew the TESLA MYP was faster (I'm on order for a GT not GTPE) and during my search for an EV SUV, even do MYP was always on the top of my list on performance and range it came last on looks, interface (I hate having everything on the screen) and poor build qualityI’m so worried the Model Y will end up being the one car I’ll have to get because there’s nothing in the market with a similar price and performance…

It’s almost like people that would call a 4 door suv a Mustang don’t even have a clue what a Mustang should be.They HAD to know how it would perform on a dragstrip. I cannot imagine this would be news to anyone at Ford. If it is, people need new jobs.
I haven't gone to the drag strip to test 1/4 mile yet, but am planning on it this week, most likely Friday night (17th).I think we are up to 4 cars now, all trapping 100 mph.
Wahhh wahhh I’m crying like a little baby because I can sacrifice SOME performance just not all of it.Ford:

As a cyclist I can say 6.5% incline will make a significant difference especially considering we're talking about roughly .5 seconds.Better than the other car, still way off of target (Model Y time). Would love to see it with no slope and no passenger. But even so, I doubt that’ll get it near 1.5 seconds which is where I want it to be.

I agree and I'm curious as well! I'll try to get to the bottom of it on an official track. As a cyclist I can say 6.5% incline will make a significant difference especially considering we're talking about roughly .5 seconds.
Curious why this car did so much better while going up an incline than the first one on flat ground.
