Question about the Panoramic roof and rain noise

I know the glass is thicker than a typical sunroof, and UV protected, but how much does this all add up to helping block out the sound? I'm very concerned with rain noise. For example, my current car has a sun/moonroof with a shade I can close. I can tell you that any time it is raining, I HAVE to close that shade because a hard rain is extremely loud inside the car. I do NOT want this type of rain noise in the Mach-E. That's probably what I'm most worried about (outside of cracking it).

I was also concerned about this, but there is no rain noise that I can discern - at least not any louder than on a normal car roof.

I sold my 2011 f150 in the process of getting my mme. The rain noise on the roof of the F-150 was so loud that when driving at highway speeds in the rain I couldn't hear conversations happening in the backseat.

The difference between my previous experience and my experiences now with the mme are night and day. You have nothing to worry about.

From my time in AZ, this is accurate. Part of the issue is that all the accumulated oil that never gets washed away seeps up in the rare rains and makes the roads quite slick. Part of it is that AZ drivers are awful.

Man we got DUMPED on last Friday here in San Diego. Came out of the blue, we even had LIGHTING, something you NEVER see in San Diego. I did not really notice it being overly loud, but then again I enjoy hearing the rain.
