I can't remember. Does Palsap repopulate once it gets to the origin pending null desitination. (in my case Delaware) I recall that maybe it does once reached, anmd before it goes to the final truck to dealer leg.

I think Jack Cooper just moves the cars in KC. Mine is going to DE also, and there is another trucking company used there. I don't think you can see much on their site, but my car shows up when I put in the VIN. Probably the best way to track your car once it is on the train to DE is the VVR.

you have to look in the "hidden" data like csilvest has above.

Is there a way to see the hidden data on an iPad? I think the instruction were only for a pc.

Actually the tracking just turned back to delivered today to the ramp. So this 2 week Mexico to KC time frame has now been 3 weeks for me. I'm now guessing about another 2 weeks to get to the dealer in Maryland. I've had cars come from China builds much faster than this.

I've read a few posts in this thread that had the same destination as mine (BIRMINGHAM, MO) that said all this info disappeared and went back to pending, so I'm glad I captured it.

Something else a little alarming is I've seen that the BIRMINGHAM destination is for East bound destinations - I'm in Boise ID so I really hope my car isn't headed in the wrong direction.

It sounds like the only possible tracking information after this will be the VVR. I haven't asked my dealer for one yet and I'm thinking of waiting until it's back on a train so I can get the raiilcar #. Not sure how I can know when it's on another train though.

About a weeks time, give ir take, from the time it leaves the Argentine Ramp until it reaches the California distribution center. Finding out if Union Pacific actually has lauded it up and sent it in its way is pretty near impossible though.

BNSF carload freight schedule times appear to be 6-7 days on the route these cars take from KC to Richmond (yes, I found the BNSF Carload schedule site on the web).

For me, I know my car left KC on Oct 3 (after transferred by Jack Cooper on 9/28), so I'm thinking the phone status I can get on my car is just stale and somehow broken, and it's probably been moving and is going to show up in Richmond by Monday. Might be time to visit my dealer again by mid-week if I haven't heard anything sooner.

BNSF connects with other railroads, so your car could start on BNSF then continue on another railroad through an interchange.

Just curious - does your DealerName field also contain "NORFOLK SOUTHERN"? Because from everything I can find, they don't go west from Kansas City

That still seems like a really long antiquated time. Whatever happened to fast rail. I guess that's only in Europe.
