Where does the car number come from?

You need to have your dealer get you the railcar number from the VVR. Here's what my VVR stated : Shipped Rail - Railcar # BNSF301133 (Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway Co )

The car initials in this case is BSNF and car number is 301133

Yep you can see the railcar number in the VVR printout I extracted out of the dealer and posted earlier here.

Nice. Were you able to get a railcar number from your dealer? Hopefully its in the same rail car too. Mine is BNSF301133

Below is what I got from my dealer when I asked if he knew when my car would get there. I hope he is correct.

"Normally, yes. With the Mach-e's it's been a little more difficult to track. However, I did just check on yours and as of 8am this morning it had been passing through Nebraska. So it should be here in a week or so."

Mine shipped a few days before yours (Sept 24th) and it hasn't made it to KC yet...

10 days, and not a single change in tracking info. I dont want to have to bug the sales guys at the dealer, but it sounds like thats the only way.

Its supposed to take at least 14 days to get from the plant to KC. After that it's anyones guess...

Similar. I called that number with my train number and they literally said there's no status to update. It's almost as if my train hasn't even left Mexico.

My experience is that palsap tracking isn't perfect, and the vehicle may be in KC area regardless.

Mine 16 days from shipment and nothing !! ????

Also, mine populated with KC and Birmingham info for about 8 hours and then went back a couple days ago to the pending info that had been their since my car was in production. Not sure what that means, but take the palsap info with a grain of salt.
