I don't agree. Cardboard boxes with stuff have pretty good grip on carpet. Only loose light objects slide around.
You don't agree that it will slide easier on carpet than on rubber?

This is just getting weirder and weirder.

Okay, okay. I'm pro rubber trunk liner. I'd never own a vehicle without one. Best part is when it's time to sell/trade you've got pristine OEM carpet under there.

Out here in Oregon the wet leaves get everywhere, even in the trunk.

This is my new favourite thread.

?
It is enjoyable. To that extent, the OP could very well be in an "advanced trolling" classification. This is almost as good as the thread where one of the forum members complained about the maximum 1,000 ignored threads limit for the forum.

Well done OP. :)

A lot. other than being obtuse or engaging in a rather odd discussion for the sake of discussion,
You are wrong. I was about to get the "whole package" of accessories before my car arrives. But yesterday I've noticed that the level 1 charger is hidden under the tray. Most likely I will need it every day...... In this situation the liner seems to be more annoying then useful.
So I opened a discussion to just weigh all the pros and cons.

When the princess (see the picture to the left) deigns to go for a car ride, it will be in a front seat and not the trunk area. Oh, and it will be in the Mach-e. :p
Mine won’t even look at me when I talk about the car

I don't know how it slides on rubber but I have definitely never had any problems with it sliding on the carpet floor.

Good idea, thank you. But even in this case the question is still open: what is more useful a little storage under the tray or the tray liner.

Well, that's an entirely different question than the one you originally posed. If you're planning on removing the included charger, then rolling it back up and putting it in the original spot every day, then this would be a hassle. Among those that actually use the included charger, most leave it at home or put it in the frunk. Mine is right where it was when the factory put it in its spot. And that's where it'll stay unless I ever need to use it (which is unlikely).
