OUCH !
I'm ONLY going on 7 months next week, but hav a build week a month later, then delivery in a month or so .
So FORD may deliver my baby in 9 months (pun intended)
Oh please… some of us are 22 months from reserving without their car yet. And just learned that despite it said shipped Oct 1, it won’t get on the train until next Tuesday. So another month to wait.

Some of us have much deeper grumpiness rights than others.

Okay, I stand corrected, I still have some grumpiness. PPI won't be done until Monday at the earliest, so no GT for me. I'm still going down there today to see it and sign the paperwork though.

<SNIP>
I know this journey isn't over and my car might get stuck in KC for a month for all I know. Again, we'll see. But a shout-out to the true purveyors of gump on this thread, HuntingPudel, Linneman, JeffMachE, Scoops, Snoops, Davedough, our dear OP and everyone else, is in order. Over the last 6 months I've languished in your stories, carried empathy through your trials and cheered your little victories. And now we're seeing deliveries. It's a glorious sight.

I've considered myself one of the lucky ones.

Just some thoughts on a Saturday morning. Now it's time to sip coffee and read the owners manual.
4 days until the 6 month anniversary of my order conversion. One month until the opening of my delivery window, 38 days until the estimated delivery date. We're getting there! I wonder if I had named myself BiteyPudel would I have gotten a quicker production week? ??

Enjoy your coffee!

Get off my lawn you pesky kids™!

Not nearly as long ago as most of the reservations, but December is still a decent slog.

On the subject of grumpiness... Today is the 6 month anniversary of my MME order. I went in knowing it was going to be a slog. I mean, even though my dealer guy told me I'd probably get delivery in June (A-HAHAHAHAH!!!!), I knew better. When I received the 6 week chip delay letter I shrugged because it already felt like the delay was baked in. No big deal. Production dates finally start showing up, built dates, shipping dates... it all created little shots of exhilaration. My production date got pushed back a week, but grumpy? Eh, whatevs. So far so good with everything and I'm anticipating delivery in about 3 weeks. That's even ahead of Ford's ETA. We'll see. Most of my anxiety is due to the ambiguity with Ford Options from month to month. It's pretty critical for my purchase plans. Really though, any grumpiness I have is directed toward my electrician who still needs to install the 14-50 plug outside, but he's doing it on the side and it's saving me lots of money. How could I complain? (He already upgraded my service to 200amps and installed a brand new panel.)

We have a true philosopher amongst the MME crew! Well said!

Side note, has anyone ever known one of those people that leaves the plastic film on their electronics / appliances / whatever as "protection?" It's absolutely maddening.
From following Mach-E Forum, I've learned that lots of owners like to do the opposite of "unboxing." They intentionally put wraps and vinyls and dips and rubber mats and so on and so on until you can't touch any of the original car.

Different strokes for different folks. :)

Anyone else finding themselves running out of good reviews and videos to read and watch while waiting for delivery? I've started digging into too many bad reviews/complaints and now I'm both grumpy my car isn't here yet and also preemptively having some buyer's remorse fearing things like too much bounciness.

Cmon Ford, bring me my car so I can stop finding faults!

I am trying my best, but just can't find it in me to be grumpy. "Mildly irked" is all I can muster.

My car was officially reported delivered to my dealer on Wednesday, but was nowhere to be found. Now they tell me it missed the truck to the dealership due to a dead battery, and they're going to fetch it now from the rail depot. No ETA. But how long could it possibly take? Right?

DON'T!!!

Saw a red MME on a mall parking lot today and the first thought was "Oh, someone is brave enough to drive this thing, not only keep in garage and wrap in PPE" :p

My solar project was just cancelled this week due to lack of supply and installation workers. I'm super annoyed.
Jeremy,

We went with Blue Raven Solar and have been very happy so far. I'm not sure they work in your area, but I can give you a referral and save you a couple of benjamins if you wish.
