Because @veronicablack was commenting on that off-center dot on the tracking page at shop.ford.com, I alluded to Ford's rendering of Select trim in Dark Matter Gray with off-center wheels, which has been posted a few times on this forum. They have since fixed it on the ordering page at least, but it is still found elsewhere.
MY build started on 8/30. It shipped on 10/8, arrived at Kansas City on 10/20, moved to the Argentine ramp on 10/21 and won't be delivered until sometime in December. It's just the next state over and I know for a fact that a matching car of a different color was on the same train and delivered to the customer in the same area as I am last Friday. I'm out of patience and my dealer is not doing shit. There is zero communication from Ford and the leadership is very, very poor. I now regret ever dealing with Ford. And, I'll let people know.

My understanding is that dealers are not making anything off the MMEs maybe that's why their communication sucks. That's what the salesman told us when we ordered ours but I bet the salesman will get a nice commission for doing nothing.
The Argentine Ramp is a big marshaling yard in KC. It is where the westbound trains start their journey. My car was delivered there on 10/24. Presumably it left on or around that same date. Another forum member was able to see that the rail car my caw was in moved into Winslow, AZ yesterday morning. That is approximately the half way point to Richmond. Palspp currently says my car was delivered to the Argentine Ramp.

One could have hoped that these challenges would make the car companies and dealers become advocates for their customers, begin communicating, and making the people handing over nearly $70K feel like they have someone working for them. Instead, the people who run the car companies (note I did not say leadership as there isn't any) have taken the approach of screw these people, what else can they do. I really do hope that this makes people think long and hard about ever doing business with Ford. Keep your existing car on the road a few more years. Look at the model that Tesla has implemented and companies like Carvana where the bullshit level is lower. Now, admittedly the Tesla reality distortion field is very strong, but Musk realized early on that the conventional model doesn't work for the customer. It may take a seismic dislocation like we are experiencing to force the needed change.
