Just for the sake of data keeping, the date on the window sticker also changes when it gets delivered damaged to the date that the front end cracked.

Fun fact about seg.fyi: when you go beyond your anticipated delivery date with no delivery, it restarts counting days until delivery. For example, my expected delivery end date is 11/2 and seg.fyi tells me on 11/8 that I have six more days until delivery. And on 11/9 I will have seven more days! Pretty soon, I will be back at the pre-order stage with hundreds of days until delivery!!

I didn't realize until recently, that Seg.fyi is not a Ford site; it is a web application written by one of us, @TheSeg. He probably did not anticipate that it would go past due dates. It isn't that critical of an item. I think he is running a date difference function on today's date and the due date - which doesn't give negative days - just the number of days between two dates.

Just got off the phone with Ford Marketing as I was inquiring about my MME GT PE order. They went off line for a little bit and then got back to me saying their database shows the car would be delivered between 10/22 & 10/28. I had to chuckle when I responded that today's date was 11/08 and it was 12 days past the delivery date he just quoted me.

Back to the dealer to see if I can get anymore information from them on the whereabouts of the car I ordered.

You've done a great job at making seg.fyi different from ford.com.

I hate to say it, but it's these kind of misconceptions about how the internet works, is the reason that phishing attacks work actually work.

I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with your site and I'm happy that you built it so thank you.

BUT speaking generally, when people are not aware of how the internet works, they fall pray to scams easily

And we want to make it clear that no one thinks you are a representative of Ford. You are one of us and just did us a huge favor in making a wonderful tool that we all very much appreciate and use daily. I was just making an attempt to explain why the date might be funny, but it doesn't surprise me that it comes from Ford that way.
