The other forum user has access to the VVR I think. He's been tracking my car for me since it left the factory. He just sent me another message that the location of my car has changed to Ramp 84 at the final train depot in Port Richmond, CA.

I've been constantly checking United Road, Jack Cooper's Palsapp, and every other tracking site I can find for information on my car. Palsapp just ends at the Argentine Ramp (which makes sense, since that's the end of their involvement). BNSF has had nothing for me the entire time (other than the rail car my car was travelling in having been emptied and returned by customer on August 4, way before my production week). United Road lists a load number and my dealer's name for my VIN but no other data (I am guessing that they are the trucking company for the trip from the final train depot to the final destination and they haven't picked up this load number yet).

I am guessing from this information that my car didn't get delivered anywhere and is awaiting transport from Ramp 84 to my dealer. I guess this is good news and that my car hasn't been delivered to the wrong dealer. ?‍?

I would like some angel to update me a VVR just like you since my car has been shipped for 53 days and has been in a black hole since then. And my dealership has been kind of slow to keep me up to date.

Well, my daily check on Ford.com has changed delivery dates. It's now listed as 11/12-11/18, so I am in the window. The car is about 3 miles from the dealer, so fingers crossed.

Well any check I do on shop.ford.com results in the page not loading

tried multiple vpns and still nothing.
Seg.fyi hasn’t updated so I’m gonna go with the assumption that my car is in the lot with yours waiting to be shipped on its final leg.

I received a VVR report from my dealer yesterday. It was dated 11.05.21. I thought I would share with all Grumpians the slow process my GT has gone through so you can benchmark and also see that shipped is not the same as headed in your direction on the ship date.

Production 08/17/21 and moved offsite for chip hold
Built 10/07/21 per Ford email
Shipped 10/08/21 per Ford email
VVR 11/05/21 vehicle at ramp 5J Lecheria Cuap, Mexico

There are no updates since 11/05. My ETA is 11/26. No KC arrival info on palsapp.

My dealer is a smaller dealer concentrating on Ford truck sales. I do believe dealer size and low priority has resulted in an extended process for me....7 weeks chip hold and 4 weeks to arrive at a Mexico rail ramp.

The saga continues. Perhaps early December???

FWIW, I don't think any of that matters, it's all just random.

I placed two orders, days apart, same dealer. One sailed straight through all the way to early delivery. The other was delayed repeatedly, supposedly built a month and a half ago, and still sitting in Mexico. There is no rhyme nor reason, they just come when they come.

ouch, that is not what I wanted to hear about the shipment schedule. Mine says it was shipped on 10/5, but that clearly didn't happen since it's not in KC yet. GRUMPY.

Don't fret! Mine shipped 10/9 and palsapp never updated at all. Still says pending. Car arrived in Asheville at my dealer today! Perhaps that truck is on its way to Durham.

I will keep one foot in this forum, and one out the door until I am driving my car away from the dealer. Not sure what "convoy" picked up my GT, but they escaped KC without ever needing Jack Cooper Trucking. Not grumpy anymore, but not completely happy yet.

To be fair, they do seem to be prioritizing GTs. There's definitely exceptions to this rule but it seems that at least in the late summer they were pushing hard to get GTs out.

Very similar to mine. Mine said shipped Oct 1 but did not get a railcar number until Nov 1 so it sat for a month. Hope to see a palsapp update in the next few days.
