Dealer checked the VVR for me today and the bad news is it's still in KC, no update since 11/30.

OTOH, Ford still thinks 12/23-12/29, so there's still time. Moderately grumpy tho.

Hang in there. Have you setup fordpass yet? To the point of right before activating the vehicle. I was notified 2x over the course of beginning and then about 10-14 days before delivery.. "Fordpass all of a sudden said connected to your vehicle" -- it was brief. Felt like the car when moved from train to train -- it tried to communicate. So figure KC arrival and then loading to train out west. My delivery was supposed to be 12/6 and it was delivered that day. Picked up the MME Wednesday! Hang in there and right after delivery Monday (so 7 hrs later) -- I got word from Ford.com that next step "purchase the car" following delivery.... I filled out the paperwork online up until signing (still took 3 hrs of dealership time at the pickup) but the pre-fill paid off ad my info was all there and the dealership called me next morning. Do you want the MME? ...uh yeah.. Stay on top of the dealer as if you get it for MSRP they have no problem of you walking away and sign /purchase asap. (Before they sell it due to lack of interest) best to you --- hopeful you will get it soon!

Today - Nebraska - this train headed NW from KC and is now heading west along the I-80 corridor on the Union Pacific line - terminal is likely Benicia

Solid first day distance, 400+ miles, about 1400 miles left to benecia. There isnt a lot of towns between the two, should be
Denver -> Salt Lake City -> MAYBE stockton -> Benecia

according to the BNFS shipping routes.

Well. My VVR still says it’s in Laredo, so unlikely to get it this year. On a separate note they have a GT at 61k msrp that they are offering to me at 66k. Unsure if I will take the bait. Really want to the tax credit but unsure if it’s worth it.

I managed to get my railcar ID. Called NS and found out that it was in Moberly, MO this morning. So, progress!

That's interesting. I've installed FordPass, and I have a big "active vehicle" button. I have not been brave enough to press it yet. All I've done is muck around a bit with Remote Setup looking at the chargers on the map. Did you get those notifications without attempting to activate?
