I just heard from my dealership. My Mach-E just arrived and I am picking it up tomorrow.

I had a visit to the dealership. They well understand I will be purchasing the MME quickly on arrival. The GM related how different the sales experience is now. The truck drivers are happier because they are greeted like Santa and there is plenty of room to unload cars. He will make calls to expedite the last leg when it arrives at the Benicia terminus. He has only had one other Ford Options experience 3 months ago which went traditional financing... so he will refreshed and answer the specific questions I had about down payment range and prepayment.
A friend walked in while was there to inquire about converting his Very Early F-150 Lightning reservation into an order. This will be happening very soon. The GM said the reservation is timestamped and they hold to that priority and NOT the date of the conversion.
He laid out the other MME purchase costs... no surprises. He is aghast at the ADM situation but implied a bidding war is ripe for this. I am confident that the purchase visit will be smoother now. I have more patience now during transport than when the EStang is waiting outside.

Interesting. My railcar TTGX965471 left KC before yours and arrived Ft. Wayne around 10pm Saturday. Then at 5:40 pm yesterday it checked in with an "Intermediate Arrival" at Elkhart IN, which is 70 miles pretty nearly the opposite direction of New Castle from Ft. Wayne. Wonder if NS is assembling a train there to make a direct shot to New Castle? Let's see if our cars start moving together. Hopefully soon!

I am in North Orange County, picking up the car in Long Beach. My original delivery date was 1/8-1/14. I am beyond shocked. Christmas came early for me this year.

You may want to check again. My rail car left Elkhart at 4:01, as did the other DE-bound car I’m tracking. Hope you are along with us.

Wow that is early. My ETA is 1/1 - 1/7 but only got to Muncie in 12/4. When did yours get to Muncie if you don't mind me asking.

I think I am, but I didn’t get Bryan. WE passed Swanton Scanner, OH @ 8:06.

Update on Railcar CNA 712351 heading to Bay Area
There was no new info since arriving at a Nebraska hub early Friday- presumably North Platte, until recently. It arrived there 4:13 AM Friday 12/10.
Tonight there was a change in information: scheduled for departure 12/12 Sunday at 1:30 PM.
Also there is another day slip in the ETA at 'industry' - Now 12/17 at 11:59 PM - just in time for the weekend delay.

I appreciate the stories of deliveries. I am considering using the Ford Options financing. Supposedly $2,500 incentive and a built in option to return the car before a final payment. I would likely pay it off early after achieving ownership satisfaction and save further interest cost. Who has this all figured out in our group? I would have the option to pay cash as well because I have has a long time to save up, but I have learned not to present this humble brag at the dealership when closing the final pricing.

How are you finding out so much info…I’ve been watching Palsapp, but it looks like mine is stuck in Birmingham MO since 12/2. My delivery window is 12/22 - 12/28 for near Freehold NJ, so trying to anticipate when it’ll actually be there. 3FMTK3SU2MMA61096 …any ideas?

You need to call your dealer and ask for the Vehicle Visibility Report information on the railcar your vehicle is on. Then on the tracker link above it will explain how to follow it on the rail.
