I'm curious, you are willing to compromise on color to get the ioniq sooner, would you be willing to do the same or make other compromises to get a 22 Mach-E?
The plot thickens: Ford just moved my ETA from 1/3-1/9 to 12/28-1/3…so you’re telling me there’s a chance?!

I thought you had visibility through United Road? For me the fifth and final delivery estimate came out a few hours after a truck was dispatched and a few hours before the actual delivery. Good luck!

Thanks, I do, but it still shows ‘on hold.’ It could be that the hold persists until the dealer does the recall work…who knows?

It’s with a Hyundai dealer owned by the same as my Ford dealer, but waiting to hear if they will consider no ADM. Of course Ild have to like it more than the Mach-E to actually pull the trigger. At least it will be a 2022…
Cool. Let us know how you like it.

Yes, compared to the MME. We ruled out the car due to the rough ride.
Maybe a tire inflation issue or something. Reviewers rave about the ride quality but who knows, youtube reviews are youtube reviews.

How are you all finding out the Ioniq's are incoming? I don't see anything on the dealer sites or hyundai's sites. I do see Tuscon's and Santa Fe's marked up to over $50K.

They are. Stopped in to Norm Reeves Hyundai today to eyeball a Santa Fe PHEV - ADM is almost $9k on top of ~$47k MSRP. Can only imagine the ADM on an ioniq 5 when they start landing.

Not going to lie - the Ioniq 5/ EV6 might be the one.

I just realized that what we drove was the Ionic PHEV. A totally different animal. I just read the Consumer Reports article on the Ionic 5 and realized that we were confused by the similar names.

Ha! Well, Hyundai certainly did’t do themselves any favors with the names. But, yeah the “other” Ioniq is completely unrelated. That would be like crossing a Mach-E off your list after test driving a gas Mustang coupe.
