So I upgraded my order from Select to Premium. I think the glass roof looks really nice, but I'm wondering what others' experiences are with it.

Does it make it too bright in your car in summer? It says it keeps it cooler in summer, and I'm wondering how that works.

Does it get dirty? Is it annoying to have to clean?

Do you regret getting it, or do you really love it?
Love it and so do the kids! If you were not looking up, you would be hard pressed to even know it's there at all to be honest. Even in direct sunlight it's very dim in the cabin, and relative to the light shining in from the side windows, you would think u were sitting under shade from a metal roof until you look up that is.

I never once felt any heat on my head or had complaints from the kids sitting in the back seats about it be too bright or too hot even under direct sunlight. The only time I feel any heat is when placing my hand on the actual glass under direct sun, in which case it is physically hot to the touch, but seems to radiate outwards rather than into the cabin because I don't feel it otherwise.

I used to like my pano roof, but my 4yos have taken to reviewing every single cloud in the sky. That would be fine on its own, but of course I have to acknowledge every singe comment.

My favorite is when it is clear skies and we are having a quiet drive - Out of nowhere I hear " DaDdY!!!!!!! ThAt ClOuD lOoKs LiKe A cLoUd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Thank goodness for lane centering.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry! Fortunately my children are a little bit older ?

I believe it makes the car feel more spacious and luxurious inside. .... Back seat passengers love the roof for sure. Never gets old for them.

Get the glass, you will love it.
Agreed with the above. My two kids love seeing out the roof.

I've spec'd panoramic roofs on my last 5 cars and really pleased the Mach-E has one also. It really opens the cabin with extra light.

I would have preferred it to slide open, but that was based on my last two Jaguars which were V6/V8s and sounded great through the open roof!

I purchased my SR AWD with Technology off the lot as well...I did not want the glass roof and honestly that was one of the reasons I never considered a premium

I love it. And it has a special coating that reduces heat and UV penetration into the cabin significantly. Here's a link to the info. https://www.saint-gobain-sekurit.co...ure/enabling-sustainable-mobility/comfortskyr

Came with the car. I wouldn't have ordered it, but no harm done.

It's more of a feature for passengers in the back seat. I hardly ever notice it from the driver's position.

My only qualm is I wish it had been a retractable roof instead. Hoping they add that sometime in the future when it's time to get a new car

Love the glass roof. Especially on cloudy, rainy, overcast days. The tint adds a very photogenic contrast to the grey skies. I love to look out of it. Unfortunately it isn’t very well seen from the front so I look forward to riding in back sometimes. It doesn’t radiate heat into the passenger compartment at all. Hold a hand 1/4” from it on a 100° day and I can’t feel any heat. My metal roof F-150 should do as well repelling the heat.
I haven’t experienced any increased need to clean. In fact just washing the outside of the car is all I’ve done haven’t had to clean the inside of the roof at all in 21 months of combined ownership (we have 2 MME’s).
My only gripe would be that it should come further forward so the driver can enjoy it too. But maybe then there would be too much sun in my eyes.

My only complaint is that the roof is very susceptible to damage. I've had the car 8 months and I've had to replace it twice. First time was a warranty claim; second time was because of a stone.
$0 comprehensive deductible for that reason

It makes about 1" - 1.5" of more headroom. Love it. Black roof looks good with the other black trim on my star white.
