MME Prem w/ extended range ordered 6/21. Planning to use the Ford Flex Financing program this whole time (7 months!). MME is en route to dealership (arrives mid-February). Dealership just informed me they will no longer be participating in that plan. It's not financially responsible for me, in my situation, to spend $600-$800/mo on a vehicle for regular financing through a CU. Not sure what to do. Any suggestions? Out-of-the-box ideas?

Are they talking about Ford Flex or Ford Options? They're not the same thing.

Your title says Ford Options, that’s different than Flex Buy. Need to clarify what you mean.

Another option is to do an RCL (Red Carpet Lease).

Something I've been wondering given the other Options thread from @Kitten and some of the suggestions provided: if you are in a state for which Ford Options is available, is the dealer obligated to allow you to finance the car using that plan? I ask because in that other threat some suggested that to incentivize them to not bump the interest rate you can inform the dealer that you will finance via Options and that you will then buy the car soon after, thus not providing them with the commission and potentially having them have to pay back the rebate too. Can the dealer then just say fine, we won't offer you Options at all then?

Digital credit union is offering 1.49% for 65 months on EVs. There is a Facebook post on Mach E Nation with an Owner who will refer you, that’s a great rate in place of options. Just something to consider,

No. In fact, they don't have to offer you any of Ford Credit's programs. On the prior car I purchased, I was offered third party financing and a third party extended service plan.

It is for 65 months and it looks like anyone can sign up.

I feel like I've said this before but "isn't not offering customers the best financing options available, especially when it's by the manufacturer" another example of the incredible value that dealers provides to consumers?
