12/6 Builds - The last of the 21's

I'm 3073 and 233. Ford tracking still thinks I'm getting the car next Monday which is a bit more optimistic than I am.

I’m 003073 186/630, which I’m guessing isn’t good news for my 2/14 estimated delivery date.

Mine is 003073 300/630 (Extended Battery, AWD, Premium, Iconic Silver Ext, Grey Int). I have an estimated delivery date of 2/16/2022. It was ordered on 4/12/2021. Palsapp says it was delivered to Norfolk Southern (VOLTZ) in Birmingham, MO on 1/17/2022. So it’s estimating it will take a month to get from Missouri to my dealer in California. That seems quite slow but I’ve already waited eight months so what’s one more.

Then it sat. There are a couple of updates from the dealer where it moved ramps.
01/18 - Shipped to Jacksonville. Apparently arrives today. From the correspondence I have received regarding the delay in delivery. I am assuming there is an issue. Either it has a recall or was somehow damaged in transport.

Thanks, I didn't mean to indicate only @kennethjk should respond; particularly interested in his since our "progress" has been tracking closely, at least until now.

Same build week, but a GT, different batch number. Makes sense. That said, I don't know if we can extract much meaning behind these numbers. My position in my batch is pretty low...but I'm stuck in the muck. ?‍

Is that Iconic Silver? Nice if so, one of the last to be produced (mine's looking to be the very last '21 to leave the factory).

And by my count, you've waited a bit over 9 months so far; I'm at 8 months (5/16 order).

@lonndog - mine is batch 3041 (if that is what it means) and 267/300. my build date was 12/10. Curious if batches are color related.

I don't think so; others with different colors posted they're in my batch (I think...), but it's true that our specs otherwise are identical, so...who knows?

Yeah, still waiting for something other than TBD over here.

if it truly is chips, which is not what my contact said when I called, why did our cars get sent back to factory and are now still waiting while Jan build cars are being shipped. Makes no sense.

The term "sent back to factory" or anything like it didn't come up in my conversation. Waiting on chips is what it said, which may correlate...maybe...to the "sent to storage" (!) that my dealer reported a while back: Put away until the big truck full of chips shows up. Dunno. Maybe they just make stuff up.

The 2022’s don’t have the foot release for the rear hatch. It has been deleted. Maybe that’s the chip you guys are missing. I think it’s only on the premium models and some GT models

Oh hell. Given the usability reports on it (not good), I'd just as soon they send it out with that chip. Unless, of course, that makes it impossible to open the hatch at all.

Update on my delivery, my date has been pushed again to 01/30. Dealer says it's still sitting at the El Mirage distribution lot, less than 12 miles from the dealer. So it's been sitting there since the afternoon of 01/19, with an original ETA at the dealer of 01/21. So close, and yet so far.

"Showing ETA February 1st through February 7th but I don't think that's accurate because now yours is saying microchip at plant on hold. I'm looking everyday for you to see when they update it. It is fully built"

Yes I am, it didn’t work earlier today but did just a little while ago.

who knows if the delivery dates listed are real. Many people have gotten them earlier and many have gotten them later. So basically it’s never right.

my dealer had sent me a VVR that said my car was “returned from offsite” on 1/8. I took that to mean back to the factory but I am probably wrong.

A bunch of us in the 10/4 group had the same thing happen a couple of weeks before they were showing built and shipped. Chip hold, moved off site, back to plant (tracker actually showed in transit) then finished.

I hope it moves quickly from here on out for you.
