What cool thing do you wish you could have on your MME, but isn't available?

While I am 2 days away from actual ownership... based on my test drive and what I've gathered in the forum:

  • I'm hoping to see Blue Cruise get better and better. Would love for my daily commute to become more automated.
  • I would like to see better acceleration performance in 60-90mph.
  • A magneride option in the premium model
Otherwise, the machE is basically my dream car

All of us Job 1 people would love to just see Blue Cruise…much less it getting better and better. :)

10 seconds

But for real...

Better interior options (sell them to me, not asking for free) -
  • Leather
  • Less Plastic
  • Brushed Aluminum trim or Carbon Fiber
  • HUD
  • Cargo net
  • Better interior lighting effects
  • QI charging that works
  • Configurable layouts on the screens
Performance wise more high speed power and less limiting of the GT line.

Using the car to power appliances and a power operatored charge port door and also heated rear seats.
It would be interesting to see if the Mach-E and the appropriate charging station could be setup like the F-150 Lightning and act as a backup battery for a house...but I don't think the available 88 KWh would be enough...but maybe?

Power charger door (and a smaller one). It’s really amazing to me with decades of gas door experience how annoying it is to open and close the charge port on this car. It also sticks out like an elephant‘s ear in my garage.

I hate the dial shifter, so some other kind of shifter. I’m not sure what, because I don’t wanna go back to a stalk (but could deal), and I don’t want some thing sticking out of the middle, and I sure as hell don’t want it on the screen.

360° Birdseye view back up camera. Also security recording with those cameras. I don’t need a fart cushion, but I thought that the way Tesla does their security cameras is pretty cool.

Oh, and I would love an actual frunk button on my key fob. I know it's on the PAAK app, but honestly, I'm still old school, and like having the key fob as well.

Oh...and why can't I remote start it from the key fob as well? I know it wouldn't be very useful in most situations, but I don't understand why I can remote start the vehicle from the app but not the key?

I wonder if Ford would sell a more feature complete fob later on that I could purchase...

I want to throw in a "That's what she said!" so badly right now :D

I take it the 5 sec nanny limit is only getting people in GT-PE's about 1/2 down the 1320 ft?

- A 13:1 steering ratio... 14.6 isn't too bad though!

- A slightly smaller turning radius. The larger Subaru Outback can turn tighter than the MME. Sad.

- A steering wheel that actually tilts parallel to the floor like most sports cars and many regular cars.

- I'd also like this steering wheel to telescope more. The steering column was clearly designed primarily for shortish overweight people and/or people that generally don't do any type of spirited driving.

Things others have already said, but I definitely agree with: 1. Ventilated seats 2. Vehicle to load 3. 800V charging capability 4. Heads up display 5. Magneride suspension (on something other than the GT PE) 6. Battery heater

I have a feeling '23 MMEs will have at least some of these.

Sure it would be enough - how long it would last would be dependent on your load and whatever the SOC was when the backup began.
