At home it's Mustang or Dadda's car.

If somebody asks about it, I'll say it's the electric mustang and if they want to talk more I'll start calling it the mach-e.

I've nicknamed (my yet to arrive) MME in the Ford App "Watts-On." Another contender was Mache-Auto (pronounced like the coffee).

In general, we refer to her as a Mach-E (never a Mustang). She has a nickname...Monkey*...and Julie sometimes calls her Big Red (because she likes a smaller car and feels the Mach-E is a little on the big side).

* - Over a year ago, we were one a call with my 84 y/o mother, planning her next trip out to visit. Julie concluded by saying "..and we'll have an electric Mach-E to drive when you get here!". My mom responded..."What's an electric monkey?!?". And thus...a nickname was born...

Nellybelle, I grew up listening to the Roy Rogers show in the 1950's and the name just seemed right.

Our 4 year old has renamed all cars "'this car." As in, "Why are we taking this car?" or occasionally "This car? Or this one?" Only our brown minivan holds a consistent name "Poop Car"

We, being my daughter and I, name all our vehicles. She even names her skateboards and kick scooters. My wife refuses to play along but after a couple weeks of "What car are we taking" the names click. Because "The Ford" is no longer the only.

Since my daughter was old enough to talk we named the vehicles after Bubble Guppies characters. Because she watch that show constantly and could visualize the cars as cartoon characters.
