We were at the unveiling of the production ready prototype at the LA Auto Show and got to meet Henrik Fisker. It has some really good specs and looks pretty nice in person.

My two concerns 1) can they get it to production, 2) some of the features I would want are really up there in price over the base model.

I hate adaptive cruise control I have it and never use it now blind side monitoring is a different story I would never buy a car without it

I love it and couldn't live without it, but to each their own.

Don't we all have it? Doesn't it come standard in all Mach Es?

They way I heard the story, Yogi was talking about Coney Island when he made that remark.

Has some good ideas. The base trim uses LFP batteries like the Model 3 Standard Range so cold climates might not be the best for it unless it has a battery heater. I heard they plan to build the top trim first and the base Ocean starting Nov 2023.

I tossed in a reservation for the mid level trim but don’t expect it to be built this year.

One dark horse is the Subaru Solterra. Supposedly it will be available this summer. I also threw in a reservation and set the dealer to the one I was planning to buy an Outback from until I fell down this EV dark hole lol.

Only thing I certain about a cheaper car is that it’ll be a cheaper car.

I doubt it’ll be chock full of goodies at $38k.

The disclaimer on the website basically says “prepare to be disappointed.”

Magna is manufacturing these, so as long as they can get the parts/materials, I don't see why it wouldn't see mass production.

The warranty and servicing will be done by a third party. They will pick vehicle up provide loaner and service car then bring it back. We on the oceanforums.com site are thinking Bridgestone/Firestone will be the service provider for the fisker vehicles as they already have them secured on the tires contract.
