I missed it because of a pesky thing called work.
Anything interesting? Anyone record it?

Pretty much a rehash of the July presentation.

During tonight's presentation, it was mentioned that the Ford Connected Home Charger, with the bundled Amazon turnkey installation services, would be released before the end of the month. I thought that was nice to hear, as it helps us get our garages ready in advance. Here's more information on Ford's Connected Charge Station.

No real new information. The only "nugget" I caught was the aerodynamic drag coefficient "surpassed the bechmarks" and even the designers were a bit surprised by the numbers. But obviously, they did not give any numbers.

I wonder what the reason for this is? Are they still holding an Ace up their sleeves?

If it was amazing then they would have probably already mentioned it as far back as the reveal, the mustangification that resulted in squaring of and raising the hood / bonnet line wont have helped, so surpasses the benchmarks probably means the end result wasn't as bad as expected.

All ford have said so far is that is is below .3, I suspect the the actual value will be closer to that of the model X rather then the Y, if it turns out better well that is just a bonus

The Model 3 and Model Y both have a coefficient of drag of .23 It's going to be really hard to reach that and come up with something not as ugly in my "unbiased" opinion. :)

The Model X is .24 as is the Model S apparently.
