There is an old wall street saying "Bulls win Bears win Pigs never win" I see dealers in my area with 14 Mach e on their lot. How is there a scarcity if there are cars available? A car dealer once told me that 10% of the suckers make up 90% of the profit. Want to see the suckers look in the mirror. There will be a moment when more Mach e are available and supply outweighs demand, at that time these dealers are going to wish they had taken the sales when they could have

If there are suckers willing to pay that, than the dealers will have incentive to keep price gouging. I'll just keep holding out for my order to someday come in.

In the long run you may be right but not any time soon I suspect!
I think eventually it will be like a game of musical chairs and when the music stops it will be the dealers scrambling for that last chair

Dealers are heating their houses by burning their furniture. I was fortunate enough to only pay MSRP, but the arrogance and lack of interest in the vehicle they were selling means I'll never do business with them again.

Have you actually seen the cars on the lot? The only reason I ask as it seems there are many people that will drive hundreds of miles to purchase a Mach? If they were just sitting there on the lot I would think they would go fast. Dealers even purchase from other dealers. I do think most dealers would know that near money is dear money and would not hold back on selling. There is a cost to having vehicles sit on the lot. Crazy though if they are just sitting there!

I respect and love all of you. This forum is amazing, but if you willingly paid an ADM you are a sucker and I have a great oil I'd like to sell you that will fix all of your problems...

Forget the ADM I’m still trying to figure out why anyone would still want a ā€˜21 model, after all, as you say it’s a leftover. I want the newest available when I’m paying big bucks!

Main reason for 2021 model is power liftgate and acoustic glass? Maybe not having to wait 6-9 months and that's $3,600 in gas cost if they must have a car now?

OR, just buy the 2021 now, then sell that when the 2022 comes in. I think a few people are doing that actually. Get double tax credits (assuming someone has the liability in 1 tax year).

To OP, I question whether those cars are honestly on the lot. Everything shipped is posted, even customer ordered cars so maybe that dealer just got a large shipment and people will be picking them up over the next week and after a bit, there will be 0 available.

Within 60 miles of me, I only see 5 Premiums.
