ASN date matched up to my shipped date. Also, you’ll get a shipped email. It appears pretty consistent the trip from Cuautitlan to KC is just under 11 days - I polled this in another thread and it matched to my experience. 11 days from the shipped email you should get a bayed date.

For me - asn and shipped are different.
asn closely match with production . Built and shipped closely match.

I received a shipped email on 2/24. My ASN is my production week date of 1/31. Do you eventually get a date and check mark next to the “Built” bullet in the Ford Tracker? And if so, when is that?

FYI Looked at the MEX-KC schedules, shortest is 8.6 days, longest 11 days depending on day it leaves. Up to 4 trains per day.

How do you know when it leaves Mexico?

I was notified it had shipped on 2/19 by email. In reality, they will hold the rail cars until full so I cannot verify exact departure. However, since there are 4 trains scheduled per day, I imagine there isn't much of a wait.

2/19 was a Saturday. Saturday departures show 8.6 days as estimated travel time. It arrived this morning in KC so I am right at 8 days.

Transferred over the Norfolk Southern line 12.33 am this morning, heading east. Probably at least one more transfer along the way because CSX is the Florida carrier.

Is the auto rack (term for the rail car that vehicles are shipped on) that it leaves Mexico on the only one it is ever on or do they unload them all in KS and reload them on other ones to their final destination by rail?

Transferred over the Norfolk Southern line 12.33 am this morning, heading east. Probably at least one more transfer along the way because CSX is the Florida carrier.

I just hope the tracking doesn't go dark as they change carriers along the way. Palsapp is supposed to be intermodal tracking all the way to the dealer.

Although they probably group them the best they can in Mexico based on final carrier, I suspect they unload and reorganize to some extent in KC - which is the "bayed" or grouping process. Otherwise, the Florida shipments would have headed east from Loredo - the shortest route.
