Sorry to hear that is still in chip purgatory. I guess mine is too. Very frustrating. Ordered MY21 8/4, converted to MY22 9/27, built 2/5, then nothing. Nothing. Nothing. At Ford's mercy.

So, the whipsaw continues. Today = better news. Just got another ‘built and shipped’ email with final build date of 3/7 and new ETA of mid April. I had been pushed to mid June late last week. Palsapp shows a ‘bayed’ date of 2/28, so perhaps finally on the way. Build date was 2/3. ?

well, I guess no more updates till dealer calls me, this api ticker has not changed since the 3rd, or my mach still is in kansas Toto, I am in san antonio- so you would think a week (ish)WELL, I gave in and called dealer, as of yesterday 4pm , car in a rail car still on Ramp 6u1 muncie- so yep Toto wee still in kansas

Checked in w dealer today. VVR still shows in KC at VOLTZ yard with expected delivery 3.24-3.30. BUT status has not updated since 3.3. Hopefully will see movement soon. In mean time, dealer is researching price protection.

Dealer: "You do not get price protection because you originally ordered a 2021 and are getting a 2022."
Me: "Yes, the 21 to 22 conversion was compensated with a $750 Ford credit."
Dealer: "But the 2022 is an entirely different order. "
Me: "No. The order number is the same. Just the year changed because Ford hit their production limit."
Dealer: "But ypu also changed from a premium to a GT."
Me: "Yes. Which I could only have done with your permission and assistance. And - prior to Ford scheduling production. "
Dealer: "But this is an entirely different order. "
Me: "No. See above. The order number is the same. Ford.allows changes prior to scheduling."
Dealer: "But, now that it is a 22, we have to use 2022 pricing. "
Me: "Agreed. But the price at the time of order acceptance. Please review the Ford Price Protection memo I gave you."
Dealer: "We will have to call the rep again. That will take like 20 minutes on hold!"
Me: "The car is not expected for 3 weeks. You have no cars to sell on the lot. Do you have something better to do?"
Dealer: "We'll call. But no promises."
Me:"By the way, here is a signed buyers order at the original price. "
Dealer: "Oh!"

I had originally ordered a 21 Premium but later placed an order for a 22 GT. The dealer did not charge me an additional deposit and left the order in place, I am sure they are desperate for vehicles on their lot. My 22 GT, right now, says June sometime. The 21 Premium was just delivered to the dealer. I also got an email for me to complete my purchase. It is a bit tempting to just go with the 21.

Got my BNSF railcar from the dealer today. Currently it’s in Argentine yard scheduled to go on a manifest train to Barstow, Ca on 3/12. Average is a 3 day run from KCK to BAR so arrival in Barstow on the 15th. 2 days to switch it out and be added to a BAR to RIC train with a 2 day run to Richmond, Ca. So possibly ready to be trucked 300 miles to my dealership on the 20th maybe. No idea how long it takes the autoracks to be delivered and off loaded at the Ford plant in Richmond. Hopefully car is in my driveway before the end of the month. I’m hoping I get to get a sneak peek of it when it hits Barstow and maybe even run the train from Barstow to Bakersfield that it will be on.
