That is very understandable. I bought my car over a year ago and was lucky enough to get an EA invite.

I went ahead and started the update now. Says it will take about 35 minutes, during which the car is inoperable. The car has not been connected to wifi these past several days so evidently it downloaded no problem OTA.

I found the onscreen messaging re giving me the option to update now, update at regularly scheduled time, or reschedule to be very clear for a change. Ford is getting better at this.
I got a rock ???

Did anyone notice the way more detailed notes for these updates on the NHTSA page? It’s weird these aren’t in the accompanying PDF.

Where did you find that on the NHTSA site? I wonder if there are more detailed notes on the other updates as well.

Just search for the Mach-E and it’s at the bottom under Manufacturer Communications

I went to my vehicle just now and as I approached I noticed that the back light of the center screen was on. I didn't unlock or open the car, just plugged it in, and sure enough the car has charge setting amnesia... It started charging even though it is outside scheduled charging hours. After about 2 minutes, the screen back light turned itself off.

I then went into the car and checked charge settings in the car. Sure enough, my home location was gone.

This happened to me as well. Once you charge again the location will appear (in the car and on FP) and you can reset the charge settings. Looks like all the location memory was wiped out with the OTA.

Makes sense, since the release notes says it messes with that system.

it says that in the notes on nhtsa.gov but not in the release notes summary on the vehicle screen and in the app. boo.
I did find on nhtsa.gov a list of all the update messages related to this series of updates:
It looks like 2.5.3 is the final objective in this series:

still nuthin’ on my end and no OTA activity reported via the widget since Feb 20. Strangely FordPass hasn’t updated since 1530 yesterday either despite my many attempts.

Now I'm curious if there's anyone in EA that has NOT started receiving the 2.4.X series? Ie are there more EA waves to come, or will the rest of us filthy commoners finally be queued for updates since this will complete the rest of the EA cohort?

Did your 2.4.2 install correctly if so did you get a notification that it installed correctly?
Yes - 2.4.2 installed on March 19 and FP sent a msg saying update successful

Well, there are some of us in EA who *have* received the email, but have not received any updates after 2.4.1. I got the email back in February, but have not gotten the updates and others have chimed in that they are in the same position. Not sure what that means for potential waves.
