Are there rotors for the Mach e select or premium that I can buy that aren’t going get that surface rust easily?

Rotors are made of metal. They rust when not used. All EVs have the same issue. While going about 40, turn the gear knob to N, then push the brakes until you're going about 10. Then turn back to D, and repeat if needed.

What on earth are y’all talking about. If you don’t have a logical answer, don’t respond to my question. There are rotors made up of different metals or high carbon that don’t rust.

Your better off looking for low dust brake pads. It may be easier to find.

Chromium and nickel have more effect on oxidation than carbon content. That said, I doubt there is much of anything in the aftermarket at all, much less anything of a different metallurgy. Right now, Rock Auto is showing one aftermarket “economyl rear rotor and an aftermarket front “driver” rotor, plus Motorcraft. ?‍♂?

You mean carbon ceramic. Those would be about $5-10K per pair if they even made them for the MME. Which they don’t, because they’re meant for serious track use. Otherwise, rotors are iron and surface rust happens when they get wet. Use your friction brakes to magically wipe away the surface rust as stated above. Low dust pads will not correct surface rust on iron rotors.

I hear that if you put a light coat of oil on them, then they don’t rust as much.

I recommend carbon ceramic brakes. No rust. Downside is they're about 10k. But they look great.

BTW, the Plymouth Prowler (mine was a 1999) had aluminum rotors, with a surface treatment to harden them.

People literally gave you an answer, but I guess it wasn’t good enough for you. Rust isn’t a big deal because you can just brake harder every now and then and it will come off.
