Could be. Just would have been nice if they'd priced that in to begin with rather than jacking it up from +$1600 to +$3600 now. Especially after opening up more via MachDrop not long ago.
For mathematically inclined check the Xplan pricing - it is zip code dependent. That will make some happy and some not so much. Maybe another Ford oversight, but I have to believe there is a reason pricing of xplan asks for zip code. Buried in this thread are several examples from different zip codes with different Xplan incentives - some differ by $1500 as I noticed when I just checked mine.

A question: If a $3K price reduction had been provided for ALL versions of the Mach-E, would anyone be unhappy that the price reduction percentage was lowest for t
No. That would not have resulted in a 3x difference for a few visual accents.

Possible. But if so, I'd say it would have made a lot more sense to announce that WITH the price increase. Not announce the price increase first and then announce what you're paying more for later.
The price of the FE went down by $1,000 USD. That's a decrease regardless of your preferred method of mathematics. Continually calling it a price increase is disingenuous. Your objection is that you didn't get a $3,000 price decrease, stop calling it a price increase -- it wasn't.

If it bothers you so much that Ford didn't reduce the price on the FE trim line by $3,000, switch to the car they did. The FE is still the most sought after trim, there was no need to reduce it to the same degree as the premium. Or we could all go to change.org to start and sign a petition to return pricing to where it was at 11:59 pm EDT September 28, 2020.

This morning, the base price mistakenly left out the AWD cost ($2700). That's been corrected, thus $1000 difference now.
So that's why the mystery price cut! Thanks for figuring that out.

Those aren't X-Plan incentives, those are regular Ford incentives that sometimes vary by region.

The X-Plan discount is a consistent MSRP-2% +$275 everywhere it's accepted.

Now I might upgrade from standard range to extended
Yeah, me too - I just emailed my dealer that I want to go from Select with tech package to route 1.

Except there was no price increase. The FE just didn't drop as far.

I'll just hope for an added bonus thrown in.

Too lazy to start a new thread. Did anyone catch the 0-60?
Ford Mustang Mach-E BREAKING: 2021 Mach-E Mustang Price Reduced on All Models Except GT! Screen Shot 2020-09-29 at 7.56.42 PM
There's already a 0-60 thread. I'll see if it's there yet.

So.... My status has not changed. The Ford web site still shows my PE at the original price, and no indication that the order has been changed to a FE through the Mach Drop program.

I was going to say this seems as though a bunch of eighth graders were developing their IT systems, but eighth graders would probably do better. ;-)

Looks like there are two set of numbers

SR RWD 6.1 SR AWD 5.6 ER RWD 6.2 ER AWD 5.1
SR RWD 5.8 SR AWD 5.2 ER RWD 6.1 ER AWD 4.8
In my capture it's different cars, from left to right: select, route 1, premium, FE

Select: 5.8 (RWD), 5.2 (AWD)
Route 1: 6.1 (RWD)
Premium: 6.1 (ER RWD), 4.8 (ER AWD), 5.8 (SR RWD), 5.2 (SR AWD)
FE: 4.8 (ER AWD)

The NET price of the FE as a whole went down by $1000. That's based on the Premium base (which it is based from, regardless of whether people are willing to recognize it or not) going down $3000 and the FE package price going up $2000.

I don't get why people don't want to acknowledge that.

That's true but if you compare my capture of premium versions to your premium version the numbers are different which is odd
