Ok a few numbers on the discounts in this post. Keep in mind that generally total package dollar amount is arrived at for a price cut (wage hike etc) before the actual divisions are made. No one at Ford blurted out "Let's make a bunch of random price decreases." Once the price cut total package value was arrived at, the individual amounts were targeted according to some mysterious marketing and accounting matrix. The numbers are rounded.

Select RWD2.3%4% of orders (from this website data) for all select versions
Select AWD2.1%
California Route 13.9%2% of orders (from this website data)
Premium RWD6.0%77% of orders (from this website data) for all Premiums.
Premium AWD5.7%
First Edition1.7%15% of orders (from this website data) for all FE's.

Argue away about the relative value of paying less than you may have been willing to pay less than 24 hours ago.

OK here's my serious proposal.

Some of us are happy because the FE price dropped so it's less out of pocket. Some are unhappy because the FE delta is now higher despite the all up price being lower and don't care that they are looking at paying less because the delta between trims (the "package price") apparently matters more to them than what they are actually paying.

It's very clear there is not going to be movement on this at this point.

This horse is now very dead. Can we stop going back and forth about this particular difference of opinion?
Shouldn't it be "The pony is now very dead."?

If you have a FE order from June and it lists the 301A package at $2000 less than on your current order, I would ask them to honor the old price. The prices on the purchase order aren’t relative to one another. I currently don't have that option as I have a Premium Order from June and a Mach-Drop FE which doesn't list the prices. (never got any paperwork) I'll keep one of them and be happy, or not get the car at all because I already have 2 BEV's and don't really need this car. Life is too short to do anything else. (sent from my phone during "coffee" break).

Fine by me. I never understood how being accurate about the pricing details was a problem to begin with.

Agreed. I’m done. After watching the debate tonight there are more important things to worry about.

I would like to offer a healthy perspective to FE holders...

All trims, with the exception of first editions, have depreciated in value, and therefore reduced in price. The FE is the only one that retained most of its value, or increased, depending on how you look at it, despite all the new competition in the EV market. ?

Ha. Only one little problem... retaining value is only good if you're the seller, not the buyer.

But other than that... ?

I did select option but now it makes premium is the best option as I had selected options. Is it too late to change to premium as my dealer is useless in responding

anyone from California chose Livermore dealership since they are telling to call ford
