When I bought my Tesla Model 3 in 2020, Navy Federal Credit Union offered me GAP coverage as part of my auto loan. As I recall, it was either free as part of the loan or quite inexpensive to add.
Navy offered us GAP for our ID.4 loan in October last year. Don't remember the cost, but it was immaterial.

I don't track the residuals/rates. Here is what they are now for 2021 and 2022s.

Does anyone know the Options offering for Q-2, 2021? The current Options program offers a $1,000 discount plus 1.4% interest in MN. Thanks

As a first car buyer, I wonder what the process will be like. They finally managed to get the correct price after a week of hassles, and I'm planning to sign the paperwork electronically. I said I wanted to do Ford Options but didn't get any table, bill, or numbers yet.

Apparently, there was some progress today as Ford Credit pulled my credit reports from everywhere (Experian, Equifax, Transunion) and for some weird reason, my dealership also pulled my credit report from Experian which I didn't like. AFAIK my score is around 800.

And then I got a call from the financial manager that my application is `pending' (or could be declined... not sure) because Ford cannot verify my SSN. They asked me to send the SS card. Then asked if I'm a student and if I have a visa, etc. I had to send my green card, pay stubs, a job offer letter, etc. And no news until now.

Is it usually a time-consuming process that can't be done in a day? Or is it a bad sign that I need to prepare other financial options? I have enough cash but doing Ford Options because it is cheaper. Anyway, as they don't work tomorrow, I again waste another day :(

Pending status is not a bad thing. It only means that the computer couldn’t approve or decline your application automatically. Pending is for an analyst to manually work on. Your situation sounds like it will just take a bit longer to work through the due diligence, no need to worry about it at this point.

Do we know if there are any incentives for the ford options plan? I've tried a few different ways to get the incentive information but got no luck.

1. I went to the ford mach-e website and try to place an order so that I can see the payment calculator in the top right corner. However, the order bank has been closed and the website does not allow me to build, let alone see the payment calculator.
2. https://www.ford.com/finance/finance-options/ford-options/ it shows that f-150 also qualifies for the options plan. However, when I try to make a build and click the payment calculator on the top right corner, it won't show the options plan. It only shows finance and lease, under finance there is no choice of options plan.
3. I looked into the current inventory and found a vehicle I'm interested in, there is a `click to see monthly price` button. However, after clicking this button, I still did not find anything related to the options plan.

Yes there are incentives for Ford Options. You can take the current incentives or use the incentives in place at the time of your order.

2021s best Ford Options rate is 2.49% (non-GTs) and 1.4% GTs. And Ford Options Bonus Cash of $1,000 or $2,500 depending on your zip code.

For 2022s best Ford Options rate is 2.74% (non-GTs) and 1.4% GTs. Ford Options bonus cash changed too. I can only see the bonus cash for my area it's down to $500 instead of $1,000. Don't know what the $2,500 amount changed to or if it changed.

Thanks for the reply! If you don’t mind me asking, where did you find the most up-to-date incentives info? I tried to find it on Ford website but failed.

Since ordering was shut off I don’t know where the information would be publicly available. But I also haven’t looked around either. Your dealer can also access the incentives information.

My dealership is doing every single step wrong from the start to the end. After 7 days, I finally got the contract to e-sign and realized it is 48 months, not 36 months I asked like ten times. The worst part is they always send this a minute before they close, so cannot fix it until tomorrow.

By the way, does the Options contract include taxes in cash value? I found the number very different from what I calculated. It might be because of the extra 12 months but wonder if taxes or other fees are included. There is no bill to check how it breaks down. Actually, it should be similar to the correct price, but the digits .22 cannot appear with the sales tax and X-Plan... so weird.

Plus, they omitted my $500 deposit. I knew it :(

I'm picking up a dealer ordered GT I reserved this week. Looks like the bonus cash incentive for ford options went down to $500? The interest rate they quoted me is 3.4%. Since I can't get to the Ford Options calculator does anyone know if this is now the rate for the GT ford options? Used to be 1.4%

This dealer is 100% on the up and up (great communication, no adm, x-plan pricing) so I'm not worried about them being crooked. Just want to make sure they are using the correct info.

I'm still seeing 1.4% and $2000 (down $500) for my region.

Thanks for that info. I would need to look at the zip for where I live and not the zip for the dealer where I'm picking up correct? Live in Ohio and picking up in upstate NY. Is it possible dealer is adding 2% to somehow get more money? I thought the ford rate was the ford rate for options?
