Thanks, well I guess I’m in for a long, blind waiting game then. Not the most intuitive process so far.
First time post, though I've been monitoring the forum for some time now. Ordered a '21 premium AWD Ext range at a dealer last July. That order was updated to '22 last October. Nothing but " thanks for the order " emails since. Called a Ford customer support number today, 800-334-4375, and learned the car is scheduled for production the week of 5/9. The rep. had a VIN for me also. The VIN checks out on the tracking site. No email from Ford yet. I just made a phone call. Didn't have to wait long to get the rep to pick up either. Give them a call. You may be as pleasantly surprised as I was. Note that if the car is built in May and is delivered by July, it will be a 12 month wait. So much for the 24 weeks anticipated in July '21.

Ordered 10/21 RWD Standard Range Premium in Grabber Blue. My priority code is 11, but I still don't have a build date. I wonder if my dealer doesn't have the allocation, or if Ford is prioritizing states like CA.
I'm in CA and I haven't seen many here, at all.

Hi so I am new to the forum. I have a select red rwd ordered the day before it closed up. After reading everything I am wondering if I will ever see it.
i assume I can forget the tax credit as well.
or is this too much doom and gloom.

I did get an email from ford telling me that they will update me on the process someday.

You will eventually get it. The tax credits maybe but probably not, but with ford having such a wide range on delivery timelines ... who knows. Nobody has any idea how to predict Ford allocations.

It’s all a guess, but the thought is the tax credit should last until the end of the year. If that’s true I would hope you would be ok. You probably have a better chance at winning the lotto than guessing what week you’ll get scheduled. Stay strong because if you’re doom and gloom now you’ll never make it through this. 😂

You WILL get the tax credit. Wether it’s $7500 or $3750 is unknown for many reasons.

I finally got my build date (5/23) for my 2nd Premium ordered on 10/2021. Finally! Also noticed that the price now shows the original non-increase amount.

  1. "Cleanup Scheduling is the attempt to schedule a dealership's unscheduled allocation due to commodity issues or other factors."

So this adds another layer of intrigue for me. Since I ordered in December, I've been checking dealer inventory and until today never saw a single CA-R1 within 500 miles of my location between Ann Arbor and Toledo. Today, there are 3 "Dealer Ordered" R1s within 50 miles, all with VIN numbers, but when you click on the "view window sticker" link you get this:
Hey John, what was your order date and did you get an order sheet print out and if so, what is the "price level" number, 215 or 220? (I ordered a CaRt1 on 12/3 and the only print out that I got was as of 3/2022 with a "price level" of 220 which was after the $2000 increase)

Hi Kent.

I have two printouts, one from 12/6/21, one from 3/18/22.

My order date was 12/6/21, for a '22 Rt. 1 RWD, bone stock (so no AWD, no interior protection package). On that printout, the Price Code was 215. MSRP came to $51885 including a mysterious $10.00 for "CV Lot Management." I'm fortunate to have a Z-plan PIN, so my cost will be somewhat less. This is of course before sales tax.

Got another printout after the Active Park Assist was converted to a Kit. That printout was done 3/18/22. Price code there is 220. Hmm.... MSRP comes to $53560, including a $325 discount for the Park Assist Kit. So -- hey wait a minute! There does seem to be a price increase on that 2nd order sheet, doesn't there? Just about $2000.00.

I do have an email from my saleswoman stating: "Good morning, John, do not worry about the price change. When you ordered, we locked in your price, so this is something that is already taken care of for you." It's on the email equivalent of dealership letterhead, with her contact info at the bottom, so I expect I'm good. But thank you for pointing that out Kent! You may have just saved me two grand.

I expect she was telling me not to worry about the $4000 increase I was inquiring about, but it sure does look like she said "...when you ordered,..." so it sounds like she's agreeing to the 12/6 agreed upon price. Guess I'll be contacting her tomorrow, eh?

Thanks again. Best of luck getting that 2K back, and best of luck to me for getting mine.
