In 1913 it took 93 minutes to assemble the Model T and cars shipped out within 24 hours. And, I don’t think it took two months to ship to NY or California.?. Ford could be doing a lot better today. They are moving cars cheap and not fast.

It would be great to have all the batch status data but I can tell you that I am three cars away in the same batch with someone else who has the same car spec. They are built and shipped and I am waiting in storage. That tells me that this process might be more random than we think. Same spec cars are also slowly going out the door in the 4/28 group. Maybe this is Ford’s LIFO or FUKFO inventory manufacturing science? I’m giving up hope for a July 1st delivery; I’m going to tell myself September so that I can receive some good news in this horrible customer experience.
If I recall that was me who was 3 cars ahead in the same batch. Only thing I can think of to account for this is dealer allocation but even that is suspect since @NewGuy and I ordered the same car from the same dealer at the same time and are in this build week but I think I may be ahead. Maybe color is a factor? Maybe it’s just random (though seems unlikely).

If that is the case, somebody done F'ed up with the week of 4/18 builds then. They probably don't know how to fix the problem because the vehicles were built beyond the point that they could easily access/fix the issue without tearing apart the car. I could be talking out my arse, but at this point it might be a plausible explanation. The lack of communication has made be cynical.

Anyone from the 5303 batch any updates? I wish Ford would hurry up and ship all of our cars already ?
No updates for me. (5303 premium ER AWD) I am past ready for a new car now though: I rotated the tires on the car this is replacing last week and a couple jack spots bent due to rust. My one positive is that I ordered mine last Aug with summer tires - I was afraid that I might have to drive it home on a snowy day! That shouldn’t be a problem now.

Point taken on #1 and #2, but I think one thing worth noting is that it's unusual that folks are getting built/shipped emails at basically the same time. Almost as if they forgot to update these cars to built earlier and are just checking both 'Built' and 'Shipped' at the same time. Usually it takes time for things to move from a production area to a shipping ramp-- for our build week there was at least a day between these status changes. It could be that they were all moved off-site, and now they are moving them in smaller batches back to the factory rail ramp for the built/shipped updates, as railcar room permits. In any case, it totally makes sense that you all won't ship at the same time, even if parts weren't an issue. 2-3 weeks of cars can't all go out in one day.

Regarding # 3, I don't think anybody was having issues accessing their window stickers via this site were they? windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=YOURVINHERE If it works at the above link, I think it's just an issue with the Ford tracker/embedded link in the email-- and we already know the Ford systems are pretty bad.
I can view my sticker from alternate means, it struck me as odd that all of a sudden the link from shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracker or what ever the link from the email send me to no longer works to get window sticker. I am perplexed that it seems that all of a sudden that week 4/11 and 4/18 builds seem to have issues seeing a normal progression or the appearence of a deviation in 'normalcy' . I know there were vehicles in the past with chip holds, glass issues, seat belt issues.

Oh yeah, those were the days!!! Had double the miles of track, didn't have to compete with containers of cheap Chinese consumer goods and fuels.

The Irony is the Model T Ford which benefitted immensely from the Railroads Heydays, would contribute to its decline. Roadways would expand exponentially to accommodate the Automobile and freight trucks. So today we have government supported Amtrak and well over 140,000 miles of those once dominate railways.

Batch 5303 (380/450) here and I just received an email from Ford at 9:43pm PST that my Mach-E has been BUILT! Hope all you other 5303s are as excited as me and received that email. The ship time is a bit brutal but hoping they are adding in a cushion to pleasantly surprise us all.

Got the same email overnight.

It's interesting that this new news is showing up differently in different places. Here's what I see, so those who didn't get an email know what they're looking for...

Ford.com account - Across the top it still says "In Production, In Progress". But below that it shows as "Built, Estimated Delivery 7/1/2022 - 7/7/2022"

Shop.Ford.com - No change

Ordertracker.app - Across the top, it now shows as "Awaiting shipment"

Modules - I don't see any change there.

The shop.ford tracker always seems to take a 1/2 day to a day to catch up. Ordertracker's 'Awaiting shipment" is the same as "Built". Likewise, when Ordertracker switches you to "In Transit" that's the same as shop.ford's "Shipped"

So late last night Ford's order tracker briefly said "Built"... now is just says "in production".

Ordertrack.app says "Awaiting Shipment"
