Might be wishful thinking, but we haven't seen any production dates released for the last 3 weeks of May, so it is possible that the transition to Job 2 is holding up any scheduling for those weeks. But then again maybe the may productions are going to Europe. My experience with communication has been like this:
1. Got a call from my dealer within 7 minutes of placing my order online.
2. Heard nothing else for maybe 1-2 months when....
3. Suddenly I see an email from Ford. My heart cries out with joy.
4. Email was only a marketing email. My heart is crushed.
5. Several weeks go by. Yay! More email from Ford.
6. Just another advertisement reminding me how great my car is going to be... eventually. More disappointment.
7. Now I don't check my email obsessively any more.
I have two friends who ordered 2021 Mach-Es and the experience was much the same. However, one day I know one of these emails will be the one I am waiting for.
If it helps you any, Ford typically schedules production 5-6 weeks before the production months starts and typically release new production schedules around the third week of the month and usually on Thursday.
For example, March 24 was the last date that Ford released a production schedule and that was for the month of May. If Ford sticks to the pattern, April 21st would be a good day to watch your email.
Also, a thoughtful administrator typically posts info about when the next build schedule is going to be announced. I'd keep you eye on the threads posted here in this community.
