Ouch. Anytime I try to brag someone always tops me. ?

407 miles!!!! Ooh now you've caught my attention!
I was just joking that I will hit 400 miles if we are saying it's because of the weather ?

What mode do you drive in?
It does not matter what mode, that number is not really achievable. The day I got that number I went on a trip Phoenix to Grand Canyon, driving 75mph up a 6000 foot elevation change, and the actual range was 275 miles under those conditions. I have also done Phoenix to Tucson at 75mph and was able to get 300 miles, that is a small elevation change.

The GOM can be fooled fairly easily driving around town gently, but I really only care about highway miles.

That is pretty good actually. Best I've been able to do Phoenix to Tucson is 260 miles at 75 mph. Any more than that and I will be pushing the car to the charging station. :)

the only explanation for getting 350-400 miles is that some people only drive downhill.

Doesn’t Unbridled mode have higher regen than the other two modes? In city driving (Lower speeds and more braking) I could easily see how the range would be better than advertised.

Highway driving often carries a range penalty in EVs. I’ve seen A Better Route Planner advise going 50-55MPH in order to stretch range on some parts of a route.

the brake pedal also regens so it doesn't matter if you use 1pedal or not

I have been reading on here and othet forums about how you all are having so much fun in Unbridled mode and how it gets more range. So I decided to test it out and you all were right! It is fun and does give more range. I normally drive in whisper mode with 1 pedal off. I get about 329-344 miles consistently at 100%. So I switched to Unbridled and drove how I normally do, if not faster because of how fast Unbridled accelerates. I had to make myself slow down a few times because I didn't realize I was speeding. I get more miles/kwh in Unbridled on my trip calculator than in whisper mode.

I drove to about 25% battery and charged. I saw it wasnt charging efficiently last night, because the time to 100% increased and the mileage decreased, so i stopped charging at 38%. I charged again this morning and I got 369 miles 100%.

I am an Unbridled fan.
I may test it in engage mode we will see.

I have a CR1 with around 1600 miles on it.

Edit: I am in Houston the weather has been warm since March so my driving conditions haven't changed.
Your CR1 gets more than 280 miles at 100%…? Should I ask them to verify that I got an extended range battery? I’ve been wondering about that for a couple months now.

It may get more range but my wife won't ride in the car if it's not in whisper mode. She says that unbridled makes the car jerky and not smooth.
our gt Is her primary commuter. I had her try unbridled. After 2 mins she was like hell no.Too stiff lmao.

I have a Premium AWD EX. I live in Austin with similar weather to Houston (with less humidity). We had only a couple days this past winter below freezing, but it’s been in the 80s and 90s for months. And yet I haven’t seen above 250 on the GOM since last fall. Granted, I made three trips to Houston in April, and I do drive in Unbridled 1-pedal all the time. But I’m beginning to think I must have some bad cells in my battery pack.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Unbridled mode gives more range. 369 miles at 100% 3158BDB7-5671-49AD-B7D8-8681F5CFD21A

I also wouldn't drive 75mph. I would do around 60-70mph on the highway. I don't speed anymore.
I was doing 60-65mph on the highway and I was still passing people. Cars were passing me as well but I kept up with traffic.

I will test it for a long trip on the highway in the summer.

Are you speeding? Try doing the speed limit for a week. Turn 1 pedal off. Reset the Gom.

Let me know if it works. Also AWD get less range on every trim.

Yes it does. I have gotten above 300 mile range since the 2nd week I have owned it.

All CR1 have extended range battery. But the AWD has less range than the RWD.

I thought that I read recently on this forum that a Ford Engineer said that it's not good to regularly charge to 100%. Something about nowhere for the electrons for go when fully charged and using brake regen. 90% is the most you should charge when not on a long trip.

Yes, regen is limited at 100% so mechanical brakes will be used instead (energy lost to heat). This is correct advice, only charge above 90% right before leaving on a long trip where you need the range. You shouldn't charge to 100% for daily use.

And I typically do only charge to 90%. But before my out-of-town trips and once or twice a month otherwise I charge to 100%.
