When will Mach-E owners be able to open the frunk using Fordpass app?

Lots of Mach-E owners already can. For Job 1 2021 cars, the official estimates from Ford have already come and gone, so it’s anyone’s guess.

No. I doubt even Ford knows just when that will happen. The PowerUp update for Job 1 2021 cars to open other than manually has yet to be released.

My MME can't open the Frunk remotely either. No option in FP. All the hardware in in the car but no functionality.

I doubt I would bother. Takes longer to grab my phone, unlock it, open the app, and press the button than it does just to pull the lever twice.I think I have used it once since I got the car. But this is what it looks like when you eventually get it:
Now, if there were a quick button next to the headlight switch (or on the driver door), it would be faster and useful. But the app, not so much. Even better - a button by the hood somewhere.

You can do it with the 7-8 button on the driver’s door, but you have to enter your code first, so I’m not sure it’s really any faster.

It would definitely be nice to have it rather than having to pull every time. ThanksI think I have used it once since I got the car. But this is what it looks like when you eventually get it:

It would be nice to be able to open the frunk without opening the drivers door first every time. Like if you are carrying something and you have your phone in your hand already. Or you can put something in the frunk and remotely open it for someone else to get it without unlocking your entire car.

Funny stuff. Ford can send OTA Powerups to give the car the ability to drive it’s self (yes an exaggeration but not really) but Ford can’t seem to make a button on the phone unlock the frunk, which already has buttons to unlock the doors, and start the car, and extend the time of starting the car, and roll up the windows, and roll down the windows, and make the horn sound and lights flash. ?
Thank goodness I can check the tire pressures, and battery level.
