So all those scummy dealers betting on getting high ADM prices on now recalled cars, are stopped from selling them. They can’t sell them at all for now. And the stock market continues to crash, interest rates are definitely going up. A U.S. recession is coming and layoffs are going to scare off some % of buyers. Those dealers might regret not taking MSRP or $1k ADM vs greedily holding out for $10K.
I think they can sell them all they want, they just cannot DELIVER a new car without first fixing it under Federal law. Note this also does not apply to USED cars, so it will be very interesting to see how this affects dealer practices.

Well folks. We did it. We created enough buzz and helped Ford figure it out. It’s been long and painful for some but I believe this group of people helped point out the problem.

Actually I take that back. My law associate named Mr. Google just informed me that Federal law prohibits sale of a vehicle under recall, not just delivery. Also, while no Federal law prohibits sale of a used car subject to recall, state laws and consumer protection statutes offer some protection here for used car purchases.

I said this was a major issue a couple of months ago. Someone unpleasantly told me I was making far too much about the issue and it was nothing.

Thank you to those who choose to look at it objectively on this forum.

to those who tried to tell me this was nothing in a less than pleasant manner. ?

I wonder if this will also address the ongoing job 1 remote frunk release issue ?
This, like BlueCruise, is probably just another excuse from Ford to not to roll out our frunk release. It’s all smoke and mirrors to distract us from the real unkept promise of 2020. The lengths they’re willing to go to avoid admitting they lied… just astounding.

First year, early adopters; part of the Ford Motor Test Team, partners for the future, not to exploit the cutting edge.

You couldn’t have waited an extra 2 weeks to make far too much of the issue so I could have my 22? If only you would have known that my car was on a train to me!

I am so thankful our team found the problem. When I say our team I'm not a Ford motor Company employee, but I am a MachE owner and I think it's awesome! We're not early adopters because we don't care, we're early adopters because we know Ford cares!

Is it possible that some recent builds (like my mid April one) might have gotten the new and improved HVBJB and that I won’t have to deal with a recall? It says no recalls for my VIN on Ford though perhaps that’s not up to date.

I don’t think so.
