Here's some more confirmation...

So looks like limit DC charging and stop flooring it...
Source; https://insideevs.com/news/592075/ford-mustang-mache-safety-recall-stop-sale/
I find this number very surprising: 48,924. That's the number of vehicles in the US that Ford says are impacted by this recall. Here are the US sales figures according to Ford Authority:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat] 1655250496226

Now obviously the above doesn't factor June MTD sales, but it would seem very likely that the recall impacts every single car what hasn't been built (or retrofitted in a repair) with the new HVBJB. Whether or not only a subset of these will need to have h/w upgrades remains to be seen...

Maybe it impacts non-US too?

it said “out of 100,000” so wonder what that aligns to?

I suspect that's insideevs.com's guess is to the total Mach E production worldwide....

This is true, we don't know how many people are working on this issue, but them saying "Q3" for this fix (or even just more info) instead of narrowing it down to less than 3 whole months isn't confidence inspiring.
It’s possible they have a software fix (or will shortly) for it and the issue is just which cars get it. Given the huge uptick in traffic here, I’d expect more information sooner rather than later. We shall see anyway.
It’s not a big deal. I’ve just learned to pay attention to his explanations is all.

There are a boatload of Ford Employees on this forum. Some are stealthy, in that they don’t advertise their employment, others less stealthy and a few are here in an official capacity (The Ford Account in the forum). Beyond that, some of the employee forum members (plural) either worked on the engineering design of the Mach-e or are currently involved with it. And some members are “simply” Ford engineers with good knowledge of the car. I no longer recall where he falls in that group of engineers, but he’s rarely been wrong about the car and how it works. At least not to my recollection.

We also know there are some reasonably high level employees lurking in the forum. The former chief engineer for the car is one. He has company too. They’re most certainly paying attention to people’s reactions and making plans for how yo explain things. Hopefully we can get some hard information sooner rather than later.
Well I guess I should skip taking my GTPE on a weekend trip to Reno for fourth of July weekend. I still haven't used DCFC yet so I should wait on that as well.
Drive sensibly, avoid 0-60 demos or demonstrations of the 5 second limit. Don’t overcharge the car on DCFC. Drive sensibly approaching the fast charger. In other words behave like a normal person. It’ll be fine.

So read an article on autoblog.com that showed up on my Facebook. That one is stating ford rep saying it will be a software update. Who knows may be they are going to put lipstick on the pig. Idk how you fix hardware issue especially when dc charging. It sounds like reducing specs to me. Better compensate if that’s the case.

I did an experiment on my way home from work this evening to test if I could make the car angry enough to fault my already replaced HVJB. Doesn't get too much stressyer for real world driving. Left work and gunned it around the corner, squealing tires as I went. Pushed the pedal to the floor and launched like a rocket off the on ramp. Spun the tires again as hard as I could making my next turn at the light a quarter mile down the road. As soon as finished rounding the corner I dropped the pedal to the floor again until I hit 90ish then let it settle back on its own down to 63. Rode at 63 for about 16 miles. Caught up to a person and floored it again to pass, and because I wanted to stress the car as much as I could I climbed up to around 85 as fast as she would get there then settled back to 63 for the rest of the ride home. Now she is plugged into a DC charger to put some juice back in for the rest of me week. And she is charging just fine and at the normal pace for the charger. So if this helps people to stop freaking the fuck out about riding the car gently and not driving it anywhere, take it from someone that drives this car almost as hard as I can on a daily basis, your car is probably just fine to continue driving like you normally would. Shit happens, recalls come out for ICE vehicles all the time. No one should have expected this car to be any different. Now stop worrying so damn much, wait for full details like sane people should, Ford will give full instructions on what to do and the problem will be fixed and we can move on to bigger and better things, like how the hell do I get bugs to stop hitting my windshield and my car in general! Stay clean damn it!

I work someplace Tow Trucks can't come to... and I commute 20mi each way across active construction zones with zero places to stop and pull over. Ever been ran over by a semi? I have. It's not pleasant.

So you can see why I am concerned that the car I bought for commuting is potentially a death trap... and as of right now I can't sell it. I am less than happy.

My Mach E Premium had a build week of May 30, 2022 and it is sitting "In production" right now. I was waiting for it to switch to "built". Does this mean I am SOL and my car will be built but sit for months or am I in the clear? I would like to sell my current 2017 Volt while the market is good but don't want to let it go if my car won't show for months. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
Shipping for my car was 87 days

I just heard rumor that when Ford discovers the correct remedy, they intend to institute a recall starting with those whose MME's were delivered most recently and work backward to those who received earliest deliveries.

Well, that's the rumor I'm starting anyway.
I also heard if you're not vaccinated you can't get the fix.
