my wife asked last week what would happen if my PAAK failed. I said there is a code I use and can start the car. Well, nope. I have had it a year and 24k miles. PAAK is certainly not perfect, but never stranded me until now.
Waiting for my wife to bring my one key. I could start the car. It connected to my phone and placed calls etc... but it said I don't have a key.
Restarted my phone, etc....
I thought there was a screen to start with a code. These updates must have wiped it. I noticed my schedules are gone. And a few other things. I hate being an early adopter.
I am just glad it isn't 110 outside and that I am at a strip mall rather than the side of the road hundreds of miles from home.
Oh and to bag a bit more, I opted for the trial plug and charge. All that means is that I have to pay fill price per KW rather than my membership discount, and pay for charging on free holidays.
Grumble grumble. Here comes my wife to save the day. I will eat some crow tonight!
