If your phone is rooted or jailbroken, don’t expect it to work correctly or get support from Ford for it, which is as it should be.
why? root is an important feature for Android power users and many of the phones can be purchased with it available.

I have a rooted android and the fordpass app used to work fine until 4.17

Don’t expect Ford to support Your phone is all, they have no obligation to support modded phones

Do you happen to have any non letter or number characters in your email you used with fordpass?
I’m having the same issues they’re having. I have a “+” in my email - do you think that’s a factor?

Fixed NOTHING. My wife and I both lost the ability to unlock and start the car yesterday on the current version 4.17.1. Also, only the second time since we owned the car, it lost our phone keys altogether! :mad: Still haven't seen the windows, frunk buttons show up in weeks. @Ford Motor Company You still need to open up your beta testing to users on this forum. We want to help and even my wife has given up and is carrying her key fob now since she couldn't unlock in our garage yesterday.
Edit - iPhone 12 & 12 Pro with iOS 15.5

I have completely lost my ability to charge my car to only 90% now. It default charges immediately and only to 100% with no way of changing it. When I edit my charge preferences there are no locations I can update to even set a time or charge limit. What the hell is wrong with these app developers? Now I have to set a schedule on my Wallbox and calculate how much charge time is needed to get me to 90% then turn off charging to the car since my Ford Pass App defaults to charge anytime it is plugged in. Why should I have to use crude math to figure out how long to charge for on a $70k vehicle to prolong battery life????

Thank you! Good riddance PaaK Setup link! My Paak worked perfectly the whole time that link was there. Also, I got my Window Up/Down, Horn & Lights and Trunk icons back and working. Sigh, still no Frunk one though!

Did it just miraculously appear with the update or did you go through any process. Still not working for me
Everything re-appeared after the update. PaaK has been working perfectly for weeks after I finally got my dealership to install all the updates up to Blue Cruise. The PaaK link appeared and the other icons disappeared when version 4.17.0 installed.

For the setup button issue, has anyone tried to do a Phone as a Key Reset in the vehicle and gone through the setup process again?

If you do a Phone as a Key reset in your vehicle, uninstall and reinstall your app, and go through PaaK setup again, do you still see the issue?
