Thank you for the suggestion.
Have a GREAT 4th!! ☺??
Can you check and see if this has been done yet? They have had my car now for 2 days and keep telling me they’ll get to it shortly. That they have been swamped.

No change, no activity today except somebody put your VIN into PTS at 8:28 this morning, I guess just to check status. No work done and same update list showing from the other day.

Thank you for checking.
I guess they’ve done some work on it today. But after the test drive, there is more to do. ?‍♀ ? hopefully I get it back tomorrow.

They weren’t able to work on it today. Tech who works on my car was sick today. I picked her up for the weekend. Still no lane centering or blue cruise.

Dealer again failed to perform the 22B08 recall. This time they said they had all the adapters, but Ford’s software on the computer recently updated and was to blame. So, we’ve rescheduled for them to try a third time.

Dear Ford, what else can be done? Can you hold their hand? They said the only way they can get tech support from Ford is through some email-like system that takes a day to get any answer back. This back and forth is wasting everyone’s time and makes Ford seem incompetent.

I am very excited to announce this should be my last update on my software issues.

I took my car back in on Monday. Got it back a few hours later and EVERYTHING was WORKING!!! BlueCruise was working great and all my normal functions were back! I drove it home and set up my phone and then my hubby and I went out so he could play with it and BlueCruise wasn't working. We could not get it to come back on. We sat and messed with settings for awhile and still nothing. On my phone, I deleted my car off of my account on the app, logged out of the app and reset everything up all over again (like it was brand new)... it worked. My car is running great, I'm all up to date and hopefully my car continues to do the OTA updates.

HUGE THANK YOU!! To all who helped get my car fixed. You have no idea how much I appreciate each of you. ??

Congrats, Kimmie!

This thread seems to be winding down, so maybe it's just me now. I hope so! :)

Not going to get to page 171!
Hope yours is fixed soon.
it seems the whole forum is far less animated as people are out enjoying the car more.

My car is still stuck because my dealership is waiting for the USB and ethernet parts from Ford.
They wasted my time the first try because they didn't read the instructions for the repair and didn't have the cables.

I had the same problem. My dealer never called me back if they actually got the cables. I do now have appointment in Aug so I hope to be unstuck some day...

Mike I would greatly appreciate it if you could look up my wife's Mach e vin 3FMTK3SU8MMA09830. Despite the dealer performing all the current updates the car is still stuck somewhere in 1.7.1 since November. The auto update button now stays on but no new updates have been received yet the car says the software is up to date. We have none of the new functions of 1.7.1 or beyond. Sync is version 243. Thanks Mike H
Mike could you please run this VIN again to see what other updates are available. In late June suddenly I started to receive OTA'S up thru 2.7.1 but nothing since. I did not have an opportunity to get the car into the dealer since your last message showing pending updates previously the dealer failed to install. I would like to see the current status before making an appointment. Thanks again Mike H

29 Jan '21, Job 1 car.

This car is eligible for CSP 21P22 and FSA 21G01 which would clean up a lot of these updates and maybe solve some of the issues you're experiencing. It also looks like the 22S41 recall modules could be updated as well.

The tech at the dealer where you got service on the 11th of May attempted the Module Repair (22B08) and then tried to update the APIM, which failed twice.

I believe the issue is that, in accordance with the BlueCruise procedures (21G01), at step 19, if CSP 21P22 has not been performed, that has to be done first before trying to do all the BlueCruise related updates. The tech is then directed to go back, do all of the CSP 21P22 module updates, and then resume the BlueCruise programming.

Your tech has not done that, and as evidenced by the logs, may be trying to "cherry-pick" modules for updating to solve a specific problem, when following the sequence in the two attached FSAs would accomplish a better result.

Schedule service with your dealer and specifically tell them that you want CSP 21P22 and FSA 21G01 applied to your car as well as the 22S41 recall.

Here is the rather large list of outstanding updates that your car has available, and which would be pared down considerably if those programs were executed successfully:
Ford Mustang Mach-E OTA 1.7.1 Stuck, anyone else have issue updating? 3FMTK3SU8MMA09830-19-July-22

I would expect them to tell you that it could take two full days to update your car.

That's if the tech stayed with it and focused.

Mike
