They will most likely download when you're out driving around. The scheduled time is what time you want them to install. They can occur on successive days if they have been queued by Ford for your car.

i had a dealer do the 22S41 update, with their paperwork stating that it was done, but it doesn’t appear on SYNC nor on my account. Is there any way to be sure it was done? i need to make a long trip solo and just want to be sure. VIN 3FMTK3SUXNMA02850

The recall-related modules are not in the list of available updates for your car.

Yes the recall-related modules were updated, and your OBCC was also done at the same time.

It might take some time for the notification to disappear from FP and the NHTSA website.

Hi all, UK customer here who has just had their mach-e back from the dealer, after the conductor recall. They said they have installed all the modules available but I was hoping someone could check/confirm for me? Not many are trustworthy!

In addition to the recall-related modules they also updated your ABS, BCM, and OBCC.

Which may be confusing to you when you see the OBCC listed again in this list of available updates:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others WF0TR3SUXMMA45580-25-July-22

There are two possibilities on why the OBCC is showing up again. The first being that it just hasn't registered with the system yet, or that there is now a newer version of the OBCC software for your car.

Recently we have seen a few instances of the OBCC not immediately clearing from the list after an update and subsequent scan, and it has taken shutting down the FDRS program and logging back in to reflect that the update is no longer in the list. It is not a significant concern.

I would gather that the larger concern for you would be reconciling the assertion your dealer service dept made to you about "having installed all the modules available", with the reality of the actual list of available module software updates shown above.

Have a great week!

I was curious earlier this week about what my VIN would show but never posted... I was reading into the Wireless charging thread and a TSB was posted so I am curious if my car has it already. TSB 22-2141 Wireless Accessory Charger Inoperative/Poor Performance

The WACM update is one that must be updated by a tech at the dealership (or by a DIY'er using FDRS). It isn't updated by OTA methods.

Carlos;

I wish I could be there on Monday. I'd bring the popcorn.

Seriously I'd love to see the look on the service manager's face when you show him this:
3FMTK3R73MMA44405-21-July-22_SW.png

Now, confirm the VIN in the lower left corner is your VIN...and if it is then all those modules in the right side panel under the SW Updates tab are what's available for your car. Including the 22S41 recall related modules (PCM, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, and SOBDMC).

And since your car was built on the 8th of July last year you're also entitled to get CSP 21P22 program updates which would include the ABS, BCM, OBCC, and the RFA.

That would leave you with the CCM, CMR, IPMA, PSCM, WACM, DSM, and HVAC. You can wait for OTAs for those, or if you have an issue with something like the driver's seat settings not matching the key fob profile you're using then they would update the DSM. Things like that.

But since they have already twice (as far as I am aware) lied right to you about doing the ones you are entitled to get updated, (22S41/CSP 21P22) I'm not sure how much luck you're going to have getting them to do anything else.

I gotta tell you, I've only come across one other forum member who's dealership service department straight-up lied right to his face.

I guess they think no one can check up on what they did or didn't do. It's hilariously sad really.

Is there another service department you can go to?

If they try and tell you again that they did the updates, ask them to show you on the tech's computer the logs showing the work was done and the available software tab like the one in the pic.

Best of luck in getting this sorted. What you have experienced is exactly why many of us just buy the equipment and get the FDRS license and do it ourselves.

Another amazing day here on the Mach-E FDRS request thread!

Mike
Hola Mike. Apparently now if they did the updates to the modules except for two of them. The IPMA and the GSM. but I'm a bit calm since the Recall was executed. I hope that those two updates will arrive through a future OTA. If you can update my VIN again and send it to me I will appreciate it as I trust you more than the dealer. Here is the pic that the Service Manager sent me. Again thank you very much for your help. When you are in Puerto Rico I invite you to a few very cold beers as we usually drink them!!!

Hello, I took delivery of my car this week and the dealership assured me that all modules are up to date and that there are no open recalls shown for the car. He *believes* that the car has the new HVBJB since it was built after the stop sale but isn’t entirely sure. System Updates in the software show nothing available to download OTA. Would it be possible to verify the build date and current status of modules? The VIN is 3FMTK3SU0NMA27448.

really appreciate the help here!

Below is the only work session in FDRS that shows up for your car, basically a pre-delivery check:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others 3FMTK3SU0NMA27448-25-July-22Work

And that leaves the list of available updates which includes the BECM, PCM, SOBD, SOBDMB, and SOBDMC which were all supposed to be updated as part of the recall. I think they expect that your car will get updated by the OTA. Nevertheless, they were economical with the truth, or less than candid, and quite possibly outright lied. I'll leave that to you to decide.
