Second, thank you for including that completely brilliant shot of your Sync "About" page because that is the very poster child image of a 'stuck' APIM that will never get another OTA until TSB 22B08/22-2150 are performed to get your system sorted.

Bear in mind that, until they've done one or two of these and are used to it, techs will not be keen (to put it mildly) to perform this procedure. They have to buy USB and Ethernet cabling and adapters (locally, not from Ford) and it can sometimes take several attempts to make a connection successfully. And if they keep trying and are unsuccessful they can end up with a "lock" being placed on that VIN for a period of time by the Ford server. So it's not something they look forward to doing. In any case, that's the problem to overcome for your car from where I sit.

Attached are what I believe to be the latest versions of the procedures to sort that out. 22P08 is sort of a diagnostic that will tell the tech if the problem exists, and 22-2150 is the actual procedure to correct it.

I’ll try to Update GWM again tomorrow. I also updated IPMA today took 3 hours and showed complete but it’s still on my list of software updates. Will it eventually disappear or do I need to reload it.
Thanks Mike

I just got my car back from the dealer. $19.95 for a tire rotation, a couple recalls, and a few updates (from noted issues covered by available updates). The "brake feel" is now surprisingly smooth with one-pedal driving. It's like a tune up!

Would you be able to run my vehicle again for my curiosity?

Thank you in advance, I truly appreciate your help!

All you've got showing is the HVAC module.

I don't suppose you can get a USB hub so you can plug more than one USB item in at a time? It looks like that's getting in the way of success here.

Also, before starting any programming check and clear all DTCs and then retest and see if there's anything you need to focus on first.

If everything is green across the board then try updating the GWM again. Don't try updating anything else until the GWM is done.

Hello! Can someone please check my VIN? I *thought* it did the OTA BECM recall but never received any details on the screen or in the app. Thank you so much!

Your VIN was checked on the 26th and 27th of July but no programming work has ever been done on this car (outside the plant).

That OBCC update in the list is likely the one that appeared for many of us just this morning. The WACM, DSM, and HVAC are all known remedial updates that techs apply in response to a customer complaint.

The SOBDM was one of the modules updated in the recent recall (22S41), but this SOBDM update may be a newer version than the recall version.

I’m picking up my car tomorrow assuming all goes well. Would someone be so kind as to run my VIN to see if there’s anything I need to have done beforehand? It’s VIN 3FMTK3SU7NMA27866
Thanks!
