??

I'm just another forum member and I don't expect anything special, but some Scooby snacks would be nice.
Come on, you do drop occasional hints that things get quickly escalated at Ford whenever as much as a “Low Fuel” indicator appears on your IP ??? Perhaps you have some friends who may not live in glass houses, but at least work in them? ???
Seriously, appreciate all the data collection and insight you’re providing and I know it’s all hard-won!

Maybe not Scooby snacks, but we have developed some pretty cool vaccines and anti-retrovirals that can help lesson symptoms when you do develop COVID, and I hope you’re better now!
(Note: they wisely don’t let me anywhere near the fun stuff at work.)

Hey, serious question: do we have any insight into failure rates on this part? Preferably by vehicle type or drivetrain type or something? I’m trying to find some kind of pattern here (obviously as a very bad, uninformed armchair quarterback)
I'd love to see some stats or a poll about this too. It would only cover members of this forum who respond but at least we'd have some insight as to who it is happening to and what model Mach E they have.

I've been toying with the idea of taking the car on a good long hard drive with HVBJB-killer hills and DCFC charging stops......but without my wife. I figure it will either kill the HVBJB or if it doesn't maybe, just maybe, it'll mean my HVBJB is (somewhat) more robust. Honestly, I'm hoping for the former - especially since the latter would only mean that I'd still have to worry that it was just still a matter of time until............
Yeah, I'm getting more than a little sick of worrying about this and yet to have any sign of the recall OTA. Just want it over with too.

Sigh… to be honest, that’s kind of what I figured intuitively. I was hoping we had enough information to develop some quantitative results.
Given the very small population of Mach-E owners that are on this forum, we'll never had quantitative data on anything.

Keep in mind that Paxlovid WILL make you feel better, when in fact you're not. That's what it's designed to do. Don't take that for a "I think I'll go out for a jog". Until your body recovers 100%, it's important to not overexert yourself. Paxlovid may make you feel great at some point, but you need to be very cautious in ramping back up.

I am not a doctor, or a medical professional, but I did stay in a La Quinta once...

Can this very different variation be the same HVJB problem. Last winter after car sat at dealer outdoors for 3 days in zero degree weather, I picked it up to drive home. The car had not been pre conditioned prior to pick up driving at about 70mph up steep grade out side temp around zero, I got the pull over safely etc. messages. Did so turned car off would not restart. Arranged for tow. got lift home. Towed to my home driver said car started when he put it on flatbed. Could the very cold weather, no preconditioning produce the same current draw that overheats contacts?

I think what you saw was related to the limitations of battery chemistry and very low temperatures. I have a few hills here at the base of the Rockies and on a couple of times last winter/early spring got the message to plug in when parking in single digit temperatures.

Once your temperature raised, the car started and I'm hoping that you have not experienced problems since. My guess is that the temperature was cold enough that you got lower current than anticipated.

Yeah, that’s standard of care, unless something goes sideways, which I doubt it would. And I’ve heard that California has a couple of half-way decent health care institutions ?
