Just as an FYI - based on tracking Norfolk Southern, my rail car arrived in Jacksonville, FL this morning. I contacted ford chat for something else this morning and asked them also to provide an update for the location as well. They said it was still at the Muncie Ramp in their system, but it was confirmed shipped with the rail number I used to track with Norfolk Southern. I don't believe Ford's system updates after it is shipped until it gets to destination. You may want to press them for either rail or convoy information and then you can track more accurately with the respective carrier.
Someone, sorry if it was you or whom else - mentioned that Ford status' system is updated every Friday and Monday - so that's why there are jumps in progress on those days.
Yup that is correct also. That is what I was told by someone on the phone when I called a few weeks ago and posted here. Ford Chat always seemed to have up to date info on the shipment until it actually left KC, so not sure what's going on. Regardless, hopefully we all just get our vehicles sooner rather than later.
not quite sure. i received the email notification early tuesday morning, but we all know those are wildly inaccurate...
Does yours also show in transit for 20+ days on the ordertrack.app link? When my status changed it made it seem like it had already been shipped for many days. Ford chat however still only has a status of lecheria even though my eta window start tomorrow.
congrats! hopefully the actual arrival stays true to your window. where is your car headed? also what's the ordertrack.app link that you're referring to?
Mines heading to Morgan Hill and if you go to https://www.ordertrack.app/ you should be able to paste in your vin and order number to check the status. This always seems to update before the official ford links.
