What happens to 2022 orders? Especially select with comf/tech package

What happens to 2022 orders which were select+comfort/tech package?

Mine was ordered in April 2022 and not scheduled for production yet.

Ford has said that 2023 production will start 10/31. So I would think scheduling would have to happen very soon to get in before then. But, of course, anything can change at any time.

Was checking to see if my Feb order for Premium SR RWD was going to be scheduled... True or not, idk.

Features from the package are being rolled into the base model. Not all, but most.

As to not paying more... good luck!

On Monday Aug 29th when '23 order banks open, unscheduled '22 orders will be converted to the closest possible configuration as a '23 order. The priority code will be set to 99 (on-hold). You will need to talk to your dealer about any configurations changes that occurred, make changes as necessary, and then have your salesman change the priority code back to the 10-19 range (lower is higher priority).

If your salesman forgets to change your '22 order priority code from 99, your car will not be built! Make sure you confirm they made the change via WBDO printout showing priority code after converting your order to '23!

I specifically ordered the MY22 Select w/ CT option.

So the Standard 2023 will have less features than what I configured ??

And to add insult to injury, the color I selected won't be available in 2023!

I have already spoken to my friend who is an attorney. He mentioned that both Ford and the dealership could be acting on bad faith because they most likely deprioritized our orders while selling other stock at a dealer markup. I might file a lawsuit if Ford screws me over.

How do you know that Ford de-prioritized your order ?

Is there some event that happened ?

I know that when I placed both my Lightning and MME at the same month, my Lightning was delivered last month. But the MME is all crickets.

Did Ford take parts away from the MME to prioritize the Lightnings ?

I made an order in April and the car dealership consistently had unsold Mach-Es that they were selling at a 20k markup, same day pickup.
