Getting ready to order premium RWD. We would have liked the extended range. But paying $8000 or more for an extra 50 miles seems a bit too much for me. We like premium over select because it's nicely equipped. Specially 8-way power passenger seat and power liftgate. I think if these two features were available in Select, we would have gone with the select.

Just to get the Nite pkg, needs to be Premium ER or GTPE, and I would only want AWD. Brings the Premium close to 70 and the GTPE close to 80, Ford is delirious with these prices. I don’t know how all the people ordering are ok with it.

so I chose a dealer, which added $1300 to MSRP. now I want to check other dealers, but don't see how to switch dealer... if I start again, it already has the dealer set.

I have a 22 Premium AWD ER battery arriving end of September, and not really sure if I'll end up taking the GT, but figured I'd rather have options in 8-12 months when it arrives vs. not ordering today, and wasn't going to order another Premium so decided to go for the GT. If the market is as crazy as it is a year from now, and I can get top dollar for my Premium then I might take the GT, again lots of variables, and considering I can walk away from my order and get my deposit back, and I have a deposit down on the new Blazer EV just trying to keep the door open.

Yeah its the $1300 destination charge. You can't get around that. I did the same thing, thinking the dealer I selected was already marking up, so opened a new browser window in "private browsing" and started over. Same results from any other dealer, that is when I realized it was the $1300 destination charge being tacked on.

I noticed I’m priority code 10. What does that mean?
Priority codes range from 1-19 and 99. The lower the priority code the better. The only priority code you don't want is 99 which means its on hold. Most priority codes start at 19 so you having a 10 is better than most.

Maybe hard for you or me to think about it, but just seeing this thread move with orders shows plenty of people are buying still. I think some folks are just stuck (me included when I look at Tesla pricing) with what it "used" to cost. Similar to possibly missing out on Tesla stock (or bitcoin or whatever) being lower, we may have a mental block and possibly, just don't want a MME enough to pay anything other than the lowest price ever.

Still, you have to consider what else is out there and outside of the Korean brands with mostly add-ons of about $5k for 2022 models, people still like the MME enough to pay more than the 2022 model (for now, I think Kia/Hyundai will raise prices for 2023 models).

Similar to price increases of the Tesla MY (and every other car out there), even with the price increases, it seems it's not enough to deter folks as they are all sold out.

The tax credit is the main lost I feel since that's a large chunk, but there were a lot of folks paying ADM already so with the possible Korean brands/Toyota not even qualifying anymore (correct me if I'm wrong since they are not built in NA nad pretty much all BMWs, Porsche/Audi, etc...), people still want the MME enough to pay increased 2023 prices (which was to be expected due to supply chain costs).

Im not exactly ok with it. What i didn't say is that I also ordered a 23 loaded Bolt EUV Redline(black wheels and stickers)for 40k yesterday. I had forgotten about the NJ 4k rebate with all this MME talk. And depending on the Tax changes maybe I could get the 7.5k also if i get it in 23. I realize the MMEGT and the BoltEUV are very different cars and not supposed to be competing with eachother. But for me they will both be performing the same job. Work-home-work-home-store-golf-work. At this point I'm keeping my options open.

Got a Star White GT ordered through the dealer. Actually did it Sunday night, they had 2023 custom orders already up then finalized everything yesterday morning. $1000 deposit but also have a signed purchase agreement for MSRP. Got the email from Ford later in the day with my order confirmation. Sales guy told me he thinks it's going to be about 10 months, we'll see how that compares to Ford's estimate of 18-22 weeks when you build/order online.

Excited though!
