I see. There not a lot of of charging stations out there? Have you set up home charging? I upgrade our electrical for home charging so I guess we mostly will be charging at home. Thus not sure if it worth it to have bigger battery pack cause that 8.6k more.

I have a 14-50 outlet in my garage and am leaning towards either a wallbox or chargepoint. I am waiting to see if there are black Friday sales before I buy. As far as charging, the closest away from home is a level 2 free 45 miles to my west, and a css 50 miles to my east. There is a free level 2 at my work parking lot. I work from home 3 days a week, so I will be mostly charging at home and work. My parents live 90 miles east of me, and my wife's sister lives 5 hours north. So we will take some long trips in it.

Those that are ordering Premium AWD extended Battery, have you looked into GT model? Its about $3,620 more then Premium (when you add Extended Battery Pack/AWD).

I have a '22 Premium AWD ER battery on the way, and opted for a '23 GT order so I can get the Grabber Blue color I really wanted, plus I like the front fascia better on the GT anyways. However, my accepting the GT will be based on market conditions and trade in on my '22 in a year or so.

Love the GB color! Congrats!! I spoke to three dealerships and was told FORD ended X plan pricing for 2023 on the Mach E as they also don't accept it on Lightning either. So not sure what your dealership is doing but that's awesome.

That almost sounds like code for "give us more money plz" from those dealerships. I'll gladly pass on my salesperson's info if you'd like to order from across the country, just let me know.

Not sure what voodoo mine used, but I'll hold them to it since we have the signed purchase order by the manager and my husband. The X-plan pricing is also listed on the order preview sheet we were given. I don't think the dealership will want the bad press over an $840.70 discount if they try to yank it at the last minute so they might just have to eat that amount. They also seemed to be willing to give any incentives available at pick up (yes, I know there will be NONE, but a girl can dream). We'll see!

So I ordered online yesterday, and the dealer accepted the order today, but anyone know what the process is? I see some people saying they got a priority code, and that they got an email from Ford and everything. I didn’t get either. I mean, my dealer only accepted the order around 1pm today (4 hours ago), but is it supposed to be instant, or am I supposed to look somewhere specific?

I see 18-22/24 weeks and I laugh. Mine took like 40 weeks. Maybe it's better now, but there are train shortage issues, worker shortages, trucker shortages. Of course, I was in dreaded chip hold so maybe that's 20 weeks there.

I'm old enough to remember when America had trains, workers, truckers, chips, and cars as far as the eye could see.

What the hell happened to our country? Our economy? Our world?

At some point the dealer you chose should contact you to come in and sign some paperwork. Once you do that and they officially submit your order to Ford then you should get the confirmation email. Hopefully they enter your email address not just the one for the dealership.

Make sure you get a signed copy of your DORA. It's not a sales agreement or anything like that but it will look like this and will have information like your PC, order code, and sales code. What this form does is confirm that the trim level and options you chose are being submitted to Ford correctly.

My local dealer (along with a few out of town dealers) reached out to me yesterday. I’ve been on the waiting list, or pre order list you might say, for a couple months now. I decided to make a couple changes. Since I was able to scoop up a gorgeous MY22 MME a month ago, I’m not in much of a hurry for another one, but by the time it gets built and delivered I may want it. I decided on the Cyber Orange, black interiors, Premium RWD ER with the Nite Pony (dumb name) package.

Warren Buffet bought some train company and did his cost shaving there per those articles about it making many workers take early retirement/quit over bad work policies.

We still have plenty of chips and salsa though. Until we block trucks coming to US from Mexico maybe

Honestly, I can't speak for them, but trucker work/life seems tough and not sure the next generation will want that work/lifestyle. A lot of jobs are probably like that now. Hard to find enough folks to do them.

Ordered a GTPE today….Grabber Blue. 3rd time through the process - will be my 3rd MME - and will be fun to watch how the process changes this time. Interestingly my dealer said they were eliminating ADM on all MMEs going forward (the ones on the lot). They have always been MSRP for orders but would ADM anything they got in for the lot. I think corporate was getting on their chain of dealers for doing it. Curious to see if that expands elsewhere (but not holding my breath).
